Summary

Life begins to feel like a fairytale dream, until you slowly become more aware of his darker sides, and of his true dealings with the Fatui. Summary

As days pass and he tries to find his place in the Family once more, it becomes increasingly obvious that whatever had happened during his ordeal…something had changed. In the beginning, it was easy to wave off the feeling that he was perpetually just a little out of tune, a little off key, when compared to the others. No matter how he tries, no matter how his sister tries to help him, the feeling doesn’t abate.
The Patriarch’s look of disappointment only grows deeper until he finally addresses the problem directly. “Your sister has told me your story,” the older mer-creature says in an even tone. “It seems there was more to it than what you told me.”

Closeted Sunday suffers from religious trauma, and Aventurine is the newest of the Ten Stonehearts and eager to further his career. He's definitely interested in making those (metaphorical) wings flap the first chance he gets.

Summary
When Sunday arrives on Aventurine's doorstep - looking a bit worse for wear after having made the trek from the depths of the Family Estate to the Reverie - he's reluctant to allow him inside.
And understandably so.
The gambler is still reeling from having just been restored as a Stoneheart, his shattered Cornerstone mended and heavy in his pocket. One could certainly understand the drawbacks to harboring a wanted fugitive as high-profile as that of the disgraced Oak Family Head after such a grueling day.
However, matters of the heart are - regrettably - as fickle as they are tedious. The pair soon find themselves in a delicate dance around what took place between them in that cold, dark cell two weeks prior as Sunday's stay only seems to lengthen indefinitely with each passing day. Tensions bubble, feelings bloom, and the pair come to realize two different things about themselves:
Sunday is pathetically easy to woo in the face of his recent defeat, and Aventurine comes to care far too quickly for things that are out of his reach.

When Komaeda Nagito finally wakes up, it's clear that something's not right. Hinata tries his best to navigate through it all, but The Servant finds no pleasure in being accommodating to strangers.

A knife had instantly pierced his chest. The throbbing ache made it impossible to hide his feelings. Though, he can't express them now; not infront of Jade or possible witnesses overhearing their conversation. He mustn't allow the tears change the character he's created over these years tarnish his image.
"I'm certain that this will answer your questions." She allowed him to take a look into the documents. His face shifted from a fragile individual to someone that was experiencing great despair.
"How did you—!"
"It's nothing strange, to be desired, to be chased, to be cut, to be sold... This is the fate of a gem." She glanced at the stone on his desk.
"But why are you showing me this now? Did you know all along?"
"You're the embodiment of a gem. Trust me, I've just uncovered this information; so I'd like to support you and your journey to– revenge."
Revenge. Why didn't he think so earlier?
