“And you're sure this'll work?” Charles asked, looking at the cloth-like tube in his hand.

“Shoa,” Arthur replied, the drawl in the voice distorting the word. “He said so at least.”

    “That photographer fella?”

    “Albert, yea.”

    Summary

A late night hunt goes awry when Arthur and Charles are chased across the tracks cutting through the border of the Heartlands and Lemoyne, when a ghostly train barrels right into, or rather, through them. Somehow, they find themselves separated and ten years in the past.

Arthur finds himself looking after a teenage Charles, who's more of an angry, scrawny kitten than the calm, skillful hunter he knows so well.

On the other end, Charles comes face to face with a young Arthur who is smug, cocky, and a flirt.

    Summary

Hosea took a deep breath, the fresh air crisper up here than back at Horseshoe Overlook, beautiful as it was. From the top of the hill, Hosea could see the sun sparkling off Iron lake, the distant, snowy peaks of the West Grizzlies, and much closer, a herd of bison slowly grazing below. It was a bit of a ride to get here, but by God was it worth it.

It's important to Hosea, so it's important to Arthur, too. Just because it makes him want to tear his hair out is besides the point.
