Summary
If she had just a drop more motivation in her body, Éponine would have been incensed by the finality with which Combeferre spoke; she was just so done with men telling her how the world works when they themselves have absolutely no clue. But he was a good person who meant nothing by it and, in hindsight, she could concede that he’d been nothing but nice to her all night and it wasn’t his fault that everything was pushing her — bit by bit — closer to the edge.
Yeah, it hadn’t been a great week.
Fuck it. It had been a shit year. The fact that it was only April be damned, she thought to herself as she collapsed back into the sofa with a resigned sigh.
OR
Gavroche decides sleeping on a park bench is preferable to sleeping in his parents' house and Ép decides that is the final straw. Featuring queer platonic ép/ferre, found family, and a fake engagement for the real estate portfolio.
This is a part of an ongoing series but, if you're loosey goosey about context feel free to read it as a standalone.

Summary
There is no one in the world Steve Harrington has a more complicated relationship with than himself. Often, this is a comfort; it can lend context and simplicity to many situations. Sometimes, though, it just makes everything more complicated.
OR

Summary
Enjolras interprets his therapist's advice about letting loose once in a while as he should experiment with getting drunk. Alone, of course, because he's embarrassed about it. Yeah, it's not his greatest plan. Especially considering he has no real way to gauge his tolerance beyond having been (almost obsessively) watching Grantaire since an abrupt realisation of his feelings for the man. Before he knows it, he ends up at a local tattoo parlour demanding a piece of his art on his skin forever.

Summary
Will these two besotted morons get their shit together before Christmas, or will they spend the rest of the way to the polls dancing around each other and being the dumbasses that we all know they are?
Aka - Grantaire is Marius's campaign's social media manager and Enjolras the speechwriter is internet illiterate.

Summary
A series of stories set within the same modern universe. Unless specifically stated otherwise - or if they're a literal child - les amis are all in their mid-twenties to early thirties in the main storyline.
Basically, it's just Les Amis romping around Paris trying their best and sometimes failing miserably. But that's okay! That's what friends are for!

Summary
Valjean pulls Javert up out of dark waters.
""No," Valjean says, but Javert knows that he has planted the possibility – Valjean shoving aside the bedclothes and rucking up his nightshirt and the grim slap of flesh on flesh and those hard convict's eyes boring into the back of his neck, Valjean's breath on the back of his neck again, and –
The rush of blood southward catches him almost by surprise. He hopes Valjean does not notice the change in his eyes, the startled swallow. He always hopes too much. To see where he stands Valjean need only glance at the bedclothes.
This, Javert thinks, the thoughts leaden in his stomach. This, this, this is what becomes of you without the prop of your law. This is where your thoughts slink – vile and filthy, back to the gutter, this is the slimy rind that's left of you –"

Summary
Javert/Valjean - hatesex that becomes a genuine relationship.
From the prompt: Javert recognises Madeline as Valjean from the moment they meet, but they both know that any accusation would come down to his word against that of a respected businessman. So Javert goes about his duties and waits for Valjean to slip up, while Valjean goes about his life and waits for Javert to denounce him.
Of course it would all be so much easier if they didn't have to see each other every day.

Summary
From a Hobbitkink prompt:
The battle was over, and Thorin Oakenshield awoke, naked and shivering, in the Halls of his Ancestors.
The novelty of being dead fades quickly, and watching over his companions soon fills him with grief and guilt. Oddly, a faint flicker of hope arises in the form of his youngest kinsman, a Dwarf of Durin's line with bright red hair.
(Follows the story of the War of the Ring).
(Bagginshield, Gimli/Legolas) In which recovery takes time, the dead members of the Company take to watching Gimli as though he’s a soap opera, the living struggle with being left behind, Legolas is confused, Khuzdul is abused, and Thorin is four feet and ten inches of guilt and anger.
