Morty's been quiet, and it seems that the same week just keeps repeating.
Adventures feel random and half assed, Rick seems both too drunk and too sober. Everything feels wrong.
Beth and Jerry have been forgetful.But Rick knows why.
Every few days now, he finds morty, dead from one thing or another but it's always self inflicted. On a few occasions someone else finds morty or morty gets ballsy and does something in public.
Rick keeps resetting everything.
If everyone just forgets it won't happen again, right?
Morty's "child proofing" makes bringing HIM back easier but the feeling doesn't change.This is ricks descent into madness as he logs every one of Morty's attempts and how he's trying to stop it

I won't know whyRick goes to Mr. Needful's store half-drunk for some silly things that Summer asked for, dumb teen stuff, because she's obsessed with a stupid teenager who pays her no attention.

He ends up buying the One Wish Willow instead, a very common toy from the 80s which he remembered for hearing that people were granted what they most desired in reality. He no longer believed in such nonsense, but he thought Summer would enjoy having a trinket like that when she was desperate and wanted something with all her heart.
I'll take a chance
It gave her hope.
Anyone can make a wish to come true; Mr. Needful said, the steps are simple:
Say it out loud and break the willow branch.
One wish per person, and most importantly, never regret it.Rick is convinced that this can help with something he's had in mind for a long time.
And if it turns out real
But Rick never regrets anything, right?
Then love can turn the wheel!
