Xiao concludes then and there that the Anemo Archon is an idiot. “I warned you,” he says, utterly unsympathetic.
“That’s true!” Barbatos laughs. He runs a thumb over the bloom, but (thankfully) doesn’t try to eat any more. “I think it’ll grow on me,” he muses, then smiles, as if he’s said something clever.

Venti remained still in Xiao’s hold. Did he fall asleep? Probably not. Xiao felt a bristle of playful wind, unnaturally strong, trying to react to Xiao’s words. What do you mean, ‘not your lover’??
