No, Lyra, the child of a fallen Tyroshi pirate captain, possesses too many skills Daemon can use in his strategies and plots, as he senses building strife between the courts of Queen Alicent and Princess Rhaenyra. He needs a spy, an assassin, and a dragonrider no one expects, so he brings his bastard into the household of Driftmark, disguised as nothing more than a foreign serving girl.
