One-shot fic !!
It’s July of 1988, eight months have passed since the final battle with Vecna. The summer was full of many “one-last-times”. Now, with college acceptances locked in and a long-overdue get-together planned for the night, Robin and Nancy return to the two lawn chairs just outside of Robin’s bedroom window.
Nancy tackles the possibility of having feelings for Robin, while Robin accepts never having a chance with Nancy.

at the peak of the party’s final battle with Vecna, relationships somehow still find time to fall apart, in the same way feelings seem to unearth when death is so close.
takes place just after the sorcerer ep 4 from volume 2. A couple of references to “One Way or Another” novel are made!!
heavily focused on ronance but with the occasional focus on action and friendship dynamics .
i never write fics just felt like bullshitting so we’ll see how this goes

"Robin opened her eyes and was blinded by the overexposed look of the world around her. This wasn’t right. This wasn’t the dark world she was falling through moments ago. This was different, familiar yet strange, like trying to remember the details of a dream after waking. Robin tried hard not to remember her dreams, though. She felt something in her hand and looked down to see a folded piece of paper, a note. The scene filled in around her, walls with stripes of colour, tiled floor, her dented locker on the right, students and teachers making their way through the hallway. She squeezed the paper in her hand and tried to make it disappear. She knew this day well, knew where it led, and cursed herself for ever being so stupid."

Summary
What if nothing ever happened? No upside down, no trauma, no deaths.
A new school year is starting in Hawkins, and Nancy Wheeler and Robin Buckley are newly Sophomores at Hawkins High School. No one was expecting them to get closer and closer, not even themselves. What if they got... A little bit too close?
This was inspired by the TV show Stranger Things, the book "Rebel Robin", and by the podcast "Rebel Robin: Surviving Hawkins". A lot of characters were invented by myself to fit the story better.
When I'm done writing the story, I'll make some modifications, so think about coming back later!
