“No, I just don’t want to deal with explaining to Aglaea and Cerydra that this area is reduced to cinders because someone decided to cheat with a meteor in order to win a simple spar,” shoots Mydei, smirk fiery.
Phainon gasps in mock-outrage.
“I wouldn’t throw a meteor at you,” he says, even though he definitely threw more than one at him in countless cycles. He tries not to think about that.
…
“If you really want to throw meteors, we can always relocate to outside of Okhema,” mentions Mydei, and Phainon can’t help but wonder why he’s so fixated on those meteors that probably ended up– killing him at some point.
“I don’t think Amphoreus is ready for that,” he says, and when he next looks up at Mydei, he finds him waiting for him further up the stairs, looking at him with something Phainon can’t quite get a read on. And then– he sighs, grabs Phainon’s hand and drags him up and behind him.
“Overthinker,” mutters Mydei, like one would utter an insult.
Phainon rolls his eyes.
“At least one of us should think,” he shoots back.
Mydei tries to trip him down the stairs.

After the finale of the Flame Chase Journey and the Miracle of Genesis that brought forth Era Nova, the Chrysos Heirs no longer needed to shoulder the weight of the world. In an Amphoreus far detached from the days of the Titans where the worship of mortals fueled eternity, a few individuals find themselves once more entering the cycle of rebirth.
Mydei, with his hidden past and personal trauma, somehow found himself happily employed at the Okhema Historical Nature Park alongside some no longer familiar faces. He enjoys his job and its chaotic monotony. At least, he does until he begins having strange dreams. Haunted by the face of a man with white hair and blue eyes by the name of Phainon, Mydei isn't sure how to handle his newfound fatigue. And he's even less prepared to handle a strange merman who looks exactly like the man in his dreams.
Is this all really just another strange dream?

Phainon gives him a cold look, lips sealed. Since these humans want to hear his voice, he won’t give it to them. The human has got some nerve, asking something of Phainon when he’s keeping him chained and caged in this glass box.
Nanook shrugs. “I’ll just call you Fishy then.”

Khaslana stares. What is this lunatic saying?
“Your every irreverence is a prayer, your every defiance is an offering. For what greater worship is there… than to grant Destruction to Destruction itself?”
With every word, Khaslana’s fury rises, shortening his breaths. All he hears is his hatred and suffering belittled, his desire to kill this mad god called worship.
“So continue to burn.” There is heat in Nanook’s gaze, alight with something like approval. “Feed the flames of your ardent hatred, build your blaze until you can immolate the stars, until you can incinerate Destruction, engulfing me in the heat of your flames.”
Nanook cups the back of Khaslana’s head, making him unable to resist when Nanook bends down and presses a kiss to his forehead, leaving behind the lingering warmth of THEIR unwanted benediction.
“My Khaslana, most ████ █ ██.”

It rang in his skull. A nightmare he wished to forget.
The images sent of this Khaslana looked so much like Seigfreid that his blood ran colder than the ice the child found floating in space had been encased in at the moment.
"Khaslana has caught the attention of Nanook."
And all he could do was wait.

Khaslana draws himself up in affront and then—stops, staring. “You… really believe that.”

He said, causing Kaneki’s brain to completely stopped functioning. Ui patted his head sympathetically and left alongside his boss.
