Phainon had been thinking far too much lately. Their sparring sessions felt off with his detached demeanor and the silent swing of his sword. You could tell his mind was almost always elsewhere. Like he wasn’t quite sure what he was doing here. Ever since defeating iron tomb Amphoreus and the Chrysos Heirs had changed… a lot. The eternal recurrences had especially affected Phainon. He barely felt like the same person anymore. That kind smile and bright optimism, the competitive teasing, his childlike playfulness and charm. They had all been lost to the world.
He was still Phainon. Mydei knew that. His undying loyalty and willingness to sacrifice, his love for his companions and unwavering resolve were all a part of him as well. But there was no joy left in his eyes. The only warmth the burning inferno that tore him apart from the inside out. Mydei wished that somehow he could find him in those depths of fire and desperation. He wished he could tell him over and over how beautiful his body was. How much he gave to him by simply being. How he was more than what he sacrificed. More than a vessel. More than his fate.
Mydei had struggles of his own putting his emotions into words. He was always better at showing them through actions. Which is how he came to here.

The sizzle of honeycake batter hitting the fry pan filled the air. Mydei, wearing clothes under his apron, hummed a little tune while he flipped the honeycake over.
Suddenly, a set of loud, thumping steps approached him rapidly.
“Mydei! Mydei, look!” Phainon said, way too amped up for the time of day. “I laid an egg!!”
Mydei turned to find an egg shoved in his face, slick with bodily fluids he didn’t really want to think too hard about. “That’s great, but could you not stomp around like that? The neighbors will complain,” he said, one eye on his pan.
“Sorry, I got too excited,” Phainon laughed awkwardly. “But this is a good sign! It means everything is a-okay in my egg making factory now.”

“Hey Mydei,” Phainon said, equally tired. “Do you think my eggs could get fertilized?”
A wave of sudden clarity overcame Mydei. His eyes shot open and he sat up. “Do you mean you could get pregnant?”
“I don’t actually know! I’ve never tested it out!”
Mydei flopped back onto the bed. “I’m just going to hope that you don’t this time and get condoms next time.” He closed his eyes. “Get some rest.”
“…would we be able to tell a laid fertilized egg from a normal unfertilized egg anyway? What happens if we accidentally serve customers eggs with human embryo in them?”
Mydei groaned. “Could you have considered the moral implications of serving potentially fertilized human eggs to customers before we had sex?”

“Don’t ever do this again, HKS,” Mydei groaned. His own body seemed to revolt against him, pressing a hard erection into Phainon’s back. “You need to take better care of yourself.”
“I’m sorry…but we have the eggs, don’t we? We can do this brunch!”
Mydei groaned. Phainon had just had an entire hand up his asshole and laid enough eggs to feed a battalion, yet he was still full of energy? He was an egg-laying monster.
Even as Phainon got up, cleaning himself up and taking his eggs along with him, Mydei found himself completely drained of energy. How was he supposed to cook anything with those eggs if all he could see was Phainon’s gaping hole?
He sat on the floor for a little longer, unable to comprehend what had happened in the past few minutes.

From under the heavy covers, the sleepy Crown Prince groans softly in response, eyes blinking awake from the light peering from outside of his room. There by the doorway stands Phainon, guarding the entrance like a dog waiting for Mydei to get up and play with him in the baths.
Of course, it's per routine by now, but Mydei still cannot get used to it, his body forever choosing sleep over bath time at this hour. So as usual, instead of getting up, Mydei snuggles back under the covers in response to Phainon's call, too tired to acknowledge Phainon in this half-tired state.

From a cabin away, they could hear March teaching Phainon about color scheme and taking break every minute dying inside because of Phainon's pure cluelessness and absolutely horrible color choices, just for her heart to broke into pieces after listening to the reason behind, not knowing Phainon understands her lecture perfectly and is purposefully being a menace just to mess with her.
"Should we go out and tell Phainon to stop? I don't think March could hold on any longer, and everyone is having too much fun to intervene." Sunday snickered behind his gloveless fist, and held out a hand.
"I can't do this anymore!!! I quit!!!"
Right on cue, March's desperate scream (figuratively) shook the whole Express. If Sunday has to guess, the non-stop floor punching and hysterical giggling that came a moment later is Stelle and Cyrene doubling over the table because of how hilarious this is.

Summary
Phainon has always been a strange person. He’s talkative, vocal, and… loud. He does a lot of weird things too, to the point where Mydei barely reacts anymore. That is, until something happens that makes Mydei question just what is going on with Phainon.
When an enemy catches Mydei off guard, Phainon rushes in to take the blow – stupid, considering Mydei’s the immortal one. However, something else catches them by surprise.
The thing bites Phainon in the ass.
In desperation, Phainon bends over and yells at Mydei to hit it, and Mydei slaps it as hard as he can. The resulting sound is a resounding smack that echoes throughout the area.
“Nnngh—!”
And that, too.
Mydei stares at Phainon in shock. Phainon, to his credit, looks equally mortified by the odd sound he just made. Mydei feels a little bad about it, but Phainon just brushes him off.
It doesn’t stop there. More strange things like this happen, Phainon laughing it off each time, and Mydei can’t help but wonder: What exactly is Phainon trying to hide?
Another question also lingers in his mind: Why does Mydei keep getting strange thoughts about him too?

“Will I see you again?” The question come out softer than he means to.
Khaslana’s gaze lingers on him, unreadable. Then he lifts a hand and cups Mydei’s cheek in his palm. His thumb drifts along the curve of Mydei’s cheekbone, the gesture gentle in a way that disarms him completely. He leans into it before he can stop himself.
Khaslana studies him a moment longer, and when he finally speaks, his voice is quiet.
“What did you wish for?”
Mydei blinks at him. “What?”
But even as he says it, he remembers.
I want you.
The memory of how he got here in the first place unfolds inside him.
He swallows. “I want you,” he says.
Khaslana’s expression doesn’t change at first, but his eyes flicker, something inside them softening. He leans in until their foreheads touch.
“You have me,” he whispers.
For a heartbeat, Mydei forgets how to breathe.
Then Khaslana’s hand trails down from Mydei’s cheek to his chin, thumb tracing the corner of his mouth. He hovers there, close enough that Mydei feels him against his lips.
And then Khaslana breathes, “Wake up.”

Phainon, his innocent, sweet Phainon, is shaking his butt in front of the entire school.
Why is Phainon shaking his butt? Why is he singing about someone touching his body?
Mydei’s world comes crashing down.
This isn’t right. There is no way anyone else is allowed to see this. There is no way Phainon will shake his butt for anyone but him.

But surprisingly, he changed his mind when he met Phainon.
The problem wasn’t him directly, but rather… those around him.
You see, Mydei thought he had a dysfunctional family because he had never met Phainon and his brothers.Or Mydei is adopted along with Phainon to travel the universe with the rest of the Lord Ravagers and since they are all lose screws the chaos is sure to be a hell of a lot.

“ARE YOU FUCKING WITH ME?!” Phainon snapped, Khaslana -Mydei still didn't know what he should call him- showing his teeth at the five intruders.
"No, that's obviously only the work of dear Mydeimos." Zephyro said sarcastically. Putting away his blades, now useless since the subject of his interest was protected.
“Get out of here.” Khaslana simply said, glaring at those present.
“We were worried!” Celenova intervened, approaching the man still hunched in a defensive position, trying to act as an intermediary. “We heard you scream and thought something had happened.”
“You have to give me 500 credits, Phantylia.” Asat said, having long ago put away his weapons, turning to the woman who still had her blade drawn. “Traitor,” she simply said with a snort. Only moving away at Khaslana’s request, directing the insult at Mydei.
“You had a bet on which of us was the bottom…?” Mydei managed to say, though his body was still shaking, not so much from their presence, but more from the murderous look Nanook was giving him.
“Yes, and you made me lose the bet,” Phantylia said, rolling her eyes, moving towards the door, clearly no longer interested in the matter.
“You filthy mortal will not impregnate one of my children under my roof-” Nanook finally began to speak, with what seemed to be rabies drool bubbling at the side of their mouth.
“I said… GET OUT OF HERE.” Khaslana exploded, a wave of heat and flames engulfing the room, Mydei protected only by his wings that acted as a shield against the tongues of flame that enveloped the others present, forcing them to leave due to the suffocating temperature that was raging.
