“That’s not fair,” Porsche complained. “You know how busy I am. I just know what a monster Macau can be, and I wanted to make sure you didn’t need me to step in and handle it. After all, we both know what his brother was like.”
Poking Porsche in the chest, Pete inhaled, which only sharpened his awareness of the nearby pool. “Stop acting like you care. If you knew how Vegas was, you wouldn’t have handed me off to him as soon as I managed to get away. You didn’t even check on me after he died. I will just say this once, Porsche, so you better listen. If you or anyone else tries to hurt Macau or tries to take him from me, I’ll kill you and piss on your grave.”

It starts off as a cat and mouse game for sex, but when the two of them are finally forced to reckon with the fact that they're on opposite sides, they both find themselves more conflicted and drawn to each other than ever.
Originally gratuitous smut, now with some plot thrown in. Enemies to lovers, Vegas/Pete style. :)

It was cruel, the way Beomgyu’s fingers guided another bite of sugared peach between his lips the same time his words poisoned him.
“You’re hormonally sterile, aren’t you?”
Taehyun’s world was ripped from underneath him despite Beomgyu sucking his thumb into his mouth, eyes locked on his innocently. It was just a question, and Beomgyu was just asking, around a mouthful of soft peaches and curiosity.
Summer droned around them, sweat prickling their skin and the wind far too lazy for the heat, while Taehyun remained silent. There was nothing he could do to peel the shame from his skin or erase the words that had been spoken into the humid air.
The fingers that intertwined with his were soft, albeit a little bit sticky. The touch of companionship.
“Even if you are...” Beomgyu whispered with warmth in his eyes. “Soobin worships you.”
As if Yeonjun doesn’t worship you… Taehyun thought as he forced a small smile. Difference was, Beomgyu was vibrant in ways Taehyun could never be.A story told between pages of Taehyun’s insecurities while he learns how to be loved wholeheartedly.

Kinn finds himself amongst them, invited by the owner to celebrate a newly formed alliance. He doesn't expect to be entertained by the mindless violence and spectacle, until the next match is announced; a fight to the death, in his honor.
And then he appears; the Phoenix, a man with golden skin and dark eyes and a saunter in his step that makes Kinn's blood hot. He doesn't stand a chance, not against an opponent twice his size, but the arrogant jut of his chin says he believes otherwise.
For the first time in a long time, Kinn feels intrigued.
