Multi watched Quackity's fingers curl into fists against the armrests. A tremor ran through the duck's shoulders — barely visible, but Multi knew him well enough to catch it. He's scared, Multi realized with a jolt. He's terrified, and he's still doing this anyway.
— Quackity, please — Multi begged, his voice breaking into a sob. — Whatever crazy ideia you're planning, we can find another way. We always find another way. Please. I can't lose you.

Summary
Emerging from the underground tunnel, they might have seemed suicidal. Pressed against the ground to weather the fiercest blast, they gazed deep into each other's eyes, pondering a question that weighed heavily on their minds.
Was it even worth it?
Would escape truly bring the freedom they longed for, or merely plunge them into a whirlwind of new troubles?
Yet, even without voicing the answer aloud, they knew it.
Even if they didn't win, the mere fact that they had tried was a victory in itself.
The fact they tried together....or, my version of their escape from the island (got inspired by some twitter posts)

Summary
Multi thought of all the things unsaid, ones he wished he could shout out loud enough to be heard miles above and below him. The words that he should have spoken into reality a long time ago now formed in his foggied mind.
He clutched the photo in one hand, the other holding his pen. With a heavy heart and even heavier psyche, in the last act of atonement, below the prettiest blue ink, he began to write.
OR: In an aftermath of the reactor's malfunction, as his last act, Multi saves Quackity's life. Self-reflection ensues. Because as one Twitter user wisely stated, Multi may be a mad scientist, but first and foremost he is a loverboy.

His hands fall into the water abruptly, splashing. “So what? It's true what I am saying. To some degree. It's always true.” He laughs, and the voices laugh too.
To tell a lie is to tell the truth. You just have to believe in what you're saying. That's all. There's nothing else to it other than faith. In a way, you can only ever lie badly.

Summary
The North has never trusted the scientist hidden away in his reactor. To them, he is a dangerous Alpha with too many secrets and too much power. The kind of person sensible people keep their distance from.
Unfortunetly, Quackity has never been particulary sensible.
The more warnings he recieves, the harder it becomes to leave it behind, especially after a soulmark develops.

Multi wasn’t particularly keen on developing a cure for some nosy spy who didn’t obey the rules, so the Regime Leader decided to strike where it hurt the most – he targeted the only thing that mattered to the scientist besides uranium.
That reckless decision awakened something dangerous, forcing Multi and Quackity to face things they had tried so hard to ignore.

Then, the music stopped and a different voice spoke, an old man’s voice, as if it were on a radio. And the music started again, more cheerful this time.
“What does it mean?” Mutli turned around to look at Quackity.
“It means,” he locked eyes with Multi. “As long as you're alive, you should love as much as you can.”
This time he saw a gentle smile on Quackity's face, like he meant those words. Maybe he did and that's why he chose that song.

Summary
Multi, after the last incident with Graf and the subsequent moment he shared with Quackity, shuts himself inside his laboratory, invigorated like he had never felt before, and works tirelessly on his studies. Unfortunately, he is so consumed by his experiments that time only reminds him of itself when Multi's condition begins to worsen again.
And like clockwork, by a stroke of bad luck Quackity finds Multi at his worst yet again.
