Summary
Matt and Shiro are surprised by the strange, last minute addition to the Kerberos mission, one Danny Fenton. He's weird, as in really weird. Like, is-he-even-human weird- yes that's a serious question.
The three of them become fast friends, going through the last of the mission's training together before finally taking off into space. Matt is determined to figure Danny out, and Danny is determined to remain un-figured out. In retrospect, Shiro probably wouldn't have cared that much, even though he doesn't really care at all, if he'd known what was really waiting for them on Pluto's moon.

Summary
Jack and Maddie Fenton have tried and failed to exorcise the powerful spirit inhabiting the body of their son. To make matters worse, he doesn't even believe he's possessed, and no amount of evidence can persuade him to accept reality. So, they do what any good parent would- they do their best to keep him safe and comfortable while they continue their search for a cure.
If that means keeping him locked down under 24-hour surveillance in an ecto-containment unit while they do that, then... well, it doesn't feel great, but he's their baby boy. And what else can they do?
Until they maybe, kind of, -accidentally- end up in maximum security prison for crimes against metahumanity, and then someone else has to take care of their son without them.
The good news is that the Justice League has a specialist.
The bad news is that Danny can't be cured.
The reason why is a matter of debate.

Danny is on the run after escaping from a GIW facility where their scientists and his parents had been experimenting on him. Now on the run from the government and his family alike, he leaves Amity and his friends behind for their safety and his. Some years after being on the run, never staying in one place for long, he finds himself in Gotham, where he eventually reconnects with the Batfamily...except, they have no idea who he is. Danny knows them of course, but not in this time. Having been sent to the future and returned, he's not sure how to interact with these people he's met, but never known.

All of the writing however is my own (✿~ •͈ᴗ•͈)

Summary
Look, in Bruce Wayne’s defence, he has a lot of children with black hair and blue eyes, and he’d had a very long day. But in Danny’s defence, he has no idea what’s happening right now and, according to his previous experience in being kidnapped by billionaires, his reaction is incredibly reasonable.
Overall, it's just a very stressful series of events for everyone involved.
