In which a villain Saitama is seen in a children's hospital playing with kids instead of killing them or whatever villains do.
--
Based off a prompt from a list I saw that was "I’m a superhero and you're the villain but I saw you visiting kids at the children's hospital and letting them act like they defeated you and now it's really hard to punch you in the face now"-

By day, he is Genos, the socially awkward and far too intense student in glasses, vests, household arms and an attempt at somewhat neat hair!
By... also day, he is the Demon Cyborg, handsome, strong, likely to set things on fire, dressed like a boyband reject, and with various removable combat arms! One of the twenty-one most lauded heroes of the country! He fights for justice! He seeks revenge! He has a crush on four different people?!Saitama is just Saitama. He doesn't care much for these secret identities, but he knows that other people do, and somehow he ended up with three?
Well, time to do what he does best: wing it.-

Summary
Once you get past the fact you made it out alive all the way to the end of a goddamn doomed timeline, you can see the situation for its rare romantic beauty. You didn't plan any of it, but you are willing to trade the anger that comes with metaphysical shenanigans for some pale action.
"I am drowning. There is is no sign of land.
You are coming down with me, hand in unlovable hand.
And I hope you die. I hope we both die."

It's like having a curtain pulled back on something he wasn't expecting to see. A surprise punch-and-judy at an up-scale restaurant, a lobster thermidor when he's ordered an ale.
Crowley's gleefully trying to wrap his head around the fact that Aziraphale is speaking Polari. Because of course he is.
Or: The Patron Saint of London's LGBT Community is real, and he lives in Soho.

“You kidnapped the Antichrist?!”Aziraphale’s shrill screech echoed harshly throughout the dingy bookshop.
Crowley looked sheepishly at his expensive, snakeskin shoes. “Kidnap is such a strong word,” he said. “I rather like liberate."

Today, Sunday, there's a sense of rightness and quiet. Outside, he hears birdsong that reminds him of home. Rashid drops sugar cubes in each tiny glass bowl—refined white for Lapsang Souchong, demerara for Earl Grey—and readies the tea tray for delivery.

“The Angel of the Eastern Gate.” Crawly grins. “What’s your name, anyway? You never said.”
“Oh...” Apologies, Aziraphael almost says, but then he doesn’t. That would be taking things a bit too far. This is still the Enemy. “Aziraphael.”
“Aziraphael,” repeats Crawly—or tries to, because halfway through the word he chokes. Quite badly.
Or: What if Aziraphale’s name was originally "Aziraphael", in keeping with the conventional spelling and pronunciation of angel names, but because of its divine nature Crowley is physically unable to say it out loud.- Language:

“You’re blushing,” Bronn says, sounding way too amused for Tyrion’s liking. “Just gift her a decent book with your number written on the first page.”
“The hell? No way,” Tyrion cuts him off. “That’d be creepy. And I saw her twice. Is your mind in the gutter or what?”
“Says the one who has ten different porn and erotica recommendations depending on what kind of porn someone likes to read.”
“Well, I share if you ask for my very humble opinion only!”
“The soccer mom definitely didn’t want your humble opinion.”
“Just check if I can shelve that stuff already,” Tyrion groans, absolutely not thinking about Sansa Stark’s pretty sky-blue eyes and about her enthusiasm about bad romance books and about how she thought his shop matched the name.
Or: in which Tyrion owns a bookshop and might be harboring a crush on his latest returning customer.

“So, uh, Genos. Do you…have a thing for me?”
Time stood still in the room. This was the absolute worst case scenario. Genos weighed his options while carefully maintaining a poker face. Saitama just kept staring at him with a blank, unreadable expression. “That’s. An abrupt question, sensei.”
It wasn’t abrupt. Genos had lived there for months and fallen hard and fast. It was shocking it took this long for something to come up.

Pain along his wrist fizzled into existence and then, like a switch, exploded. Saitama stumbled back, fighting the urge to shout, and waited for it to fade.
“What—sensei, are you all right?!” Genos was staring at him incredulously, his mouth agape.
“It’s like I said,” Saitama said, rubbing his wrist lightly. “Something’s happening to me."

It wasn’t every day that your disciple got his ass kicked so hard he didn’t recognize you.
Or, for that matter, that he declared his love for you in between poor machine gun impressions.
Based on a prompt by batneko: Genos gets his eyes damaged and doesn’t realize his hearing was damaged too. Saitama doesn’t want to worry him, so when Genos mistakes him for a civilian he just goes with it. Genos gushes about his sensei.
