Summary
Atsushi thinks of Christmas, an event that was celebrated by many and for many reasons, it is an occasion commonly celebrated by families.
'families...' he thought for a while, a big imposing gate, color stained glass and a cold cell.
He thought for a second that he disappeared into his own thoughts and he was glad Dazai pulled him out before he slowly drowns himself in bad memories.
"Atsushi-kun, since you don't anything about Christmas I will teach you about it."
"Not that I don't know anything..."
"Hush," Dazai looks him on the eyes, for a split second Atsushi saw something from his face but he couldn't tell what with how his expression quickly changed to that one of a childish facade , "Let's make your first Christmas fun, what do you say?"
Not that Atsushi expects too much in celebrating his first Christmas outside the orphanage but he really can't run away from said holiday, even though throughout his life in the orphanage, the 25th of December was nothing but another day to survive.
