The royalty reached up to her, Illyana’s muscles tensing and skin prickling with tension. She grabbed her by the collar her servant had prepared so delicately much earlier that day. Quickly, frost covered it. It dug into her skin, like the collar was spiked in the opposite direction… she pulled her forward, Illyana stumbling with a light whimper leaving her lips.It was cold, it hurt. Although water slowly slid down her skin, it was clear– This was why they didn’t attempt to challenge these humans. Illyana wasn’t immune.
In a quick motion, her hands released her collar, and she was left to recoil back. The princess turned on a heel, waving her hand.“We will talk more, after my crowning. Guards? Please escort her to where she will wait in holding.”

Seol cringed, “On second thought, don’t call me that. Seol is fine…”
Illyana’s smirk on her face almost made her regret taking it back. She waved her off, shooing her out of the workspace and down the hall, “Goodnight, Illyana!”
Illyana raised a hand to wave at her, not bothering to look back.
