Summary
Vecna raised his left hand - no, claw - over Mike’s face. Immediately, a stabbing pain erupted all over his body. He could feel Vecna violating his mind, exploring every crevice. He felt tears fall down his face in a constant flow that should not have been possible. He cried out in pain, but was immediately silenced by a flow of black particles leaving Vecna's hand and making their way into his mouth. The pain he was experiencing increased by tenfold. He realized far too late that those black particles must have been the mindflayer. That thought flew away quickly, and was replaced with the agonizing pain of every part of his body succumbing to the control of the shadow monster and the monster before him.

Summary
Mike hated how safe and loved Will made him feel, hated how Will never left his side even after everything that happened. He hated how much he adored Will, and hated how much he knew Will still adored him. But, what he really hated, was not knowing what Will was thinking as easily as he used to. He couldn’t look in his eyes and instantly know what the other was saying in his head anymore, couldn’t analyze the way Will’s eyebrows shifted or how he bit his lip. It upset Mike so much he’s cried himself to sleep over it multiple times. It’s admittedly gotten better since Mike had actually talked to Will about it- the other boy now using quiet inflictions in his tone or subtle touches to let Mike know how he was feeling.
Truthfully though, Mike didn’t need to see Will to understand what he was doing next, moving his hand from the small of Mike’s back to cup his chin. Suddenly, Mike’s head was being moved up carefully, and after only a moment of hesitation, Will’s lips were on his.

Summary
He recoils in shock and terror when he sees its limbs – twisted and wrong. Its skin is torn open in places and hanging down, he can see the whiteness of bone beneath the torn flesh. A thick spurt of blood wells to the surface and splatters onto the floor between him and the sink.
The creature snarls and Mike screams.
It drops to the ground, twisting in mid-air to land on all fours. Its head is twisted in the wrong angle, its spine is sticking out from its back. More blood falls as the flesh is jostled. A thick, rotting smell fills the air.
Mike keeps screaming.
The handle jangles again, harsher this time. Will’s voice filters through, he sounds panicked. Mike can’t make out the words over the sounds of his own screams.
The creature titters, skittering forward, and Mike stumbles back. He hits the door with a loud thud. He’s still screaming.

Summary
The day of their graduation, Will was smiling for photos with Hopper and his mum, Joyce when the phone rung. Will laughed as the tarp behind Jonathan fell again while taking photos while his mum picked up the phone. She frowned and Will could faintly hear Karen Wheeler’s frantic voice. Joyce lowered the phone to her shoulder and mouthed the words, “Mike has been missing since last night.”
The old cold feeling washed over Will again. No Mike probably stayed at Lucas’ house or something, right?
And if not, then where the hell did Mike Wheeler go?

Summary
Years after Will's disappearance, Mike is still holding out for him to come back. His friends and family have given up on convincing him otherwise, allowing him to sink further and further into depression. After an odd girl shows up on Max's doorstep, admitting to witnessing Will's kidnapping, Mike's whole world is upturned after finding out that his sister disappeared. Venturing into the Upside Down with wishful thoughts and determination, Mike is forced to confront emotions that were otherwise dead and buried.

Will scoots up in bed and shimmies out of his blanket cocoon, placing his hands on the sides of Mike’s arms. “Are you feeling sick?” he questions gently. Something’s not right.
Mike shakes his head and once again, opens his mouth with a brief pause before speaking. “I’m so hungry, Will.”
Mike gets a little too into the occult. After a ritual-gone-wrong, Will has to piece together a decades-old mystery to save his best friend's life.

Summary
In November of 1983 disaster struck, when amongst others Will Byers disappeared. Other than every one else though, his body was found within a creek.
One and a half years later his friends still try to cope with his loss, when one of them starts to hallucinate his voice, only these hallucinations become stronger with every passing day.
Was that boy in the creek truly Will Byers? And if it wasn’t him, where is he?
The rights for the characters do not lie with me, the rights for the story do.

Four years after Will Byers' death, and more than a year into Hawkins' quarantine, the Party encounters a new entity in the Upside Down, hellbent on keeping them out and protecting his master, Vecna. Dubbed Kas the Bloody-handed by the Party, he takes a special interest in Mike of all people, invading his dreams nearly every night for his own twisted amusement-at least, that's what he'd have Mike believe.

“Hello?” she shouted, to nobody in particular. She felt like an idiot in a horror movie, but it just came out of her mouth, just like that.
“Hi?” a small voice replied, strange and garbled like a young child who still didn’t really know how to speak but tried to anyway.
She stepped forward and, as her flashlight’s beam hit the trash can, she saw a dark shadow of a body across the grass. Without a word, she walked around the can, not knowing what to expect on the other side, but somehow knowing that whatever was on the other side wasn’t there for her.
There, she saw him. A boy. He wore clothes much too large for his small frame, practically swallowing him whole, and his lips twitched in what could only be fear or sadness. His face was off. A scrap of fabric hung over the left side of his face, somehow tied into his long, tangled hair, and it was completely soaked in blood, so much blood that it had stained his face and neck almost entirely.

In which 18 months after Vecna opens the 4th gate, Mike Wheeler is struggling to pretend everything was okay. Nothing had been 'okay' for the past 4 years, starting when his best friend vanished into thin air. Nothing had been 'okay' when they found Will's body in the quarry.
But still, Mike tried to pretend.
When Max is saved by a mysterious voice who tells her to look for him in the upside down, Mike thinks he might not have to pretend anymore.
