"Giyuu crouched down, took the small being into his hands, and wrapped the kitten in his haori to keep it warm. He held it close to his chest and tried to protect the tiny head from the rain with his palm.
Suddenly, the feel of water drops falling on his head disappeared. Giyuu still heard the rain pitter-patter onto some surface. He looked up and saw a familiar face and an umbrella hovering over him.
“Oi, Tomioka. What are you doing here, out in the rain?”
“Shinazugawa…”
Giyuu felt so surprised the words got stuck in his throat. Sanemi’s face was this close to his only during sparring and even then, he couldn’t take a good look at it. His scars were visible from afar but he never noticed the unusual color of his eyes before. Violet.
"Beautiful…" whispered Giyuu."
(basically, Giyuu and Sanemi find a stray kitten and take care of it. also, they both are very gay and it shows)
