Summary
Ten years ago, a clueless young girl found something in her mother's jewelry drawer that unleashed the fated warrior Heart Sentinel Emerald Passion. Over those ten years, Emerald and her mundane alter ego, Eithne Kelley, have been many things—a specter, a champion for the downtrodden, a heroine, a killer—but above all else they have been profoundly, terribly alone.
But now, after nearly a decade of fighting alone, there are new magical warriors in town who might begin to understand what she went through and how it made her who she is. Their presence might help unravel years of mysteries that have woven through the sleepy town of Brooksend, and change everything for her forever.

Bookmarker's Notes
The plurality presented in this fic is the result of sci-fi tech, and maybe isn't the direct intent of the author. Frankly though the similarities are too numerous to count and we think it makes for a good example regardless.

Summary
Arthur isn't happy. Arthur hasn't been happy for a long time. All he wants to do is finish his degree and disappear into his studies, utilizing the one asset he could ever rely on: his intellect. No one else believes in him except for his professor, Elizabeth Fitzgerald, the enigmatic and beautiful professor who has taken him under her wing.
There's nothing suspicious about her inviting him home, right? She's an outspoken lesbian, so clearly she would have no ulterior motives. Nobody is attracted to him. Never mind where she goes on the weekends or the fact that it's a full moon tonight. He's just being paranoid. She couldn't possibly know...

Bookmarker's Notes
This is first and foremost a horror story. There are severe violations of consent that the author isn't afraid to point out as such.
It is also a story of self acceptance, egg cracking, and found family. Even if that family is a bit messed up and morally dark grey.
The writing can be dense at times, but it serves the feel of the narrative extremely well and is well worth pushing through.

Summary
Thomas Baker is an American college student studying abroad in Paris when a night out drinking with other boys turns into something far more sinister. In an attempt to flee a deadly fate, he instead encounters Lady Marié Evereaux, a centuries-old vampire who brings him into her world of magic and darkness in order to save his life. In her Hôtel Pied de Alouette and beyond, Thomas will learn much about Paris' supernatural underground, history, swordplay, magic, and even himself.
Or herself, as the case may be.
The fledgling vampire will battle beside and against witches, demons, lycanthropes, and more in her slow and inevitable unraveling of not only the conspiracy that brought her here, but its dark and cruel past. The arc of history is long, as Lady Marié knows well, and though it never repeats itself, it does often rhyme. -

Bookmarker's Notes
The plural rep really kicks into gear in the second part of this series. There's still some pretty good hivemind stuff in the first part though. The series is an absolutely wonderful read, especially if you like to just be dropped into a world where the narrating pov is based entirely on what the characters know in-universe.
