Tommy looks up at the small house. He checks the address over and over again, just to be sure he’s at the right place. It took him a while to find the house. He had to ask around to try to find someone who could help him find the place.
Tommy keeps staring at the house. He has to say that he’s nervous. Finding out you’re adopted from your abusive family isn’t the best thing ever. It would be really low on his list of things he likes. Though he is happy he could escape that god awful place.

Tommy wakes up with a killing headache. His whole body feels cold. He isn’t lying down on his bed like he usually is. Rather, he’s lying down on the ground. Not just the ground, he’s almost completely covered in snow. He isn’t wearing a hoodie, only his iconic red and white t-shirt. His arms are completely frozen from the cold.
Tommy pushes himself in a sitting position, looking around. He can only see the white snow and the high trees around him. He doesn’t see a light source, except for the full moon shining brightly. The forest is filled with silence.

Did anything really matter as long as he has Wil and Tubbo and literally everybody else on the SMP? He doesn’t need his parents. He doesn’t need them to feed him, he doesn’t need them to teach him stuff. He doesn’t need them to give him hugs and be there for him. He has everything he could ever want, and they did nothing to give him that.
So he’ll deal with the angry parents and the tiny punishments from time to time, just to prove to his parents that he isn’t that naïve boy anymore who believes everything his parents say and that they don’t have power over him. Just to prove that he can shout and curse and that they can’t take away that one thing that he needs to survive.
