Summary
Technoblade was having the time of his life. The lights were dim, the walls, ceilings, and floors were a uniform steely gray, and he was forced to beat the pulp out of aliens every little while on a completely unpredictable schedule. He hadn’t eaten enough in far too long, his circadian rhythm was totally wrecked, and he was riding the wake of a killer headache.
On the whole, though, not as bad as it could have been.Philza of the Perfodio-Creo flock was kidnapped by Sky, a Mimid who runs a coliseum where people watch sapient creatures fight each other for sport. Philza happens to have an entire crew of dubiously sane privateers eagerly trying to get him back. If they happen to pick up a stray deathworlder in the process, well, in Philza's defense, Techno flock-bonded with him first.

Summary
Very little is known about humans. Every culture tells different tales of them, and they are depicted as everything from feral savages to crafty predators. Across the galaxy, it's widely accepted that, once set on a path, humans are hard to stop and harder to kill. No one truly realized just how much damage a human can take without slowing down. Well, the Hardcore is a privateering ship, and they manage to get into more trouble than most. Eventually, they're bound to figure out the limits of their new human crewmember. …if he has any.
