Summary
He wakes for real an indeterminate amount of time later. He’s in the hospital, a real one, not just the infirmary wing at UA. And Katsuki is there, resting in a chair by the window. He looks…bleary. If he was a photograph, he’d be in sepia tones. Izuku stares at him for several beats, but he must shift, or make a noise, because Katsuki’s eyes flick to his, his mouth turning wry.
“You with me again nerd?”
“Where’d I go?” Izuku half-coughs. His throat is dry.
Or... Izuku and Katsuki need each other.

It’s a bad idea, but not any worse than the other ideas he’s had today. Decided, Izuku spends a little too long retrieving the dummies and packing them back into his duffle. He brought a sweatshirt, and he puts it on just to cover the swollen mess that it is hand. If Shinsou isn’t willing to help, Izuku doesn’t want him snitching to Recovery Girl. Izuku’s got YouTube. He’s sure he can ask Momo to make him some wraps. He’ll figure it out on his own if he needs to.
Or... At UA, Izuku works through some trust issues.

Shouta swims towards awareness, too hot and bogged down by blankets. There is a tiny body tucked along the curve of his back, pointed feet like spades against his vertebrae. He snuffles, poking his head out of the quilt, and is immediately assaulted by light.
“Paaaapaa,” Eri’s speaking in a semi-whisper. Her hands, cold and slightly sticky—Shouta knows better by now than to try and figure out why they’re sticky—press against the back of his neck. “Are you awake?”
Or... Shouta comes down with a virus and Eri and Hizashi help.

Summary
Tensei pauses at the threshold of the room, tapping his wheels with the flats of his hands. Tenya’s been quieter since Tensei got injured—irascible and easily overwhelmed. He also won’t look Tensei in the eye most days. He idles at the edge of the living room, rocking his chair back and forth as he wonders if he’ll make the situation worse with his presence. But Tenya is his little brother, and Tensei can’t pretend he hasn’t seen this, that his heart doesn’t ache for the vacant expression on Tenya’s face.
So he wheels over to the couch, flicking the TV off with the remote. It breaks whatever spell Tenya’s been under, his eyes flicking up to Tensei’s face then off, searching for something else in the room to focus on. Tenya’s throat clicks as he swallows thickly.
“I apologize if I woke you.” The words are overly formal, and it just further reminds Tensei how little this version of Tenya resembles the younger brother he remembers.
Or...In the wake of Stain's attack, the Iida brothers hold tightly to their guilt.

Shouta should be starting his evening rounds right about now. He needs to check that the kids are following curfew, but it’s a Friday night and he’s had a terrible patrol and the roof, cool and empty and so so familiar, is where he wants to be, so he supposes the kids can have fifteen extra minutes. It’s not unearned.
He hears the door creak behind him, the sound of footsteps, confident and then halting, and then an exhaled, surprised little, “Oh—”
Shouta doesn’t need to turn to place the voice. He makes no indication that he heard the kid, giving him a few seconds to decide if he wants to fade back down the hallway and into his room, where he should be. Instead, there is only silence as the kid waffles.
“It’s a bit late for you to be out of the dorms, Midoriya.”
Or... Aizawa knows when to bend a little.

He counts down in his head, waiting out Shigaraki’s movements. Shigaraki inches nearer, two fingers on Asui’s face, then three. Shouta holds his breath, readying his quirk. At the fourth finger he lets it activate, pleading with his body to not blink, to never blink.
But then there’s a blur of green and a splash, and Midoriya is where Asui once was. It throws his timing off. Shouta blinks, opening his eyes just in time to see the fifth finger land around Midoriya’s throat.
Time slows down, as if to mock him. Shouta can’t make out Midoriya’s pained cry, can’t hear Asui’s uncharacteristic curse through the pounding of his blood in his ears. The only thing he can do, with the last beats of his consciousness, is watch in slow motion as the skin and muscle unravel from Midoriya’s throat. Glassiness blooms in Midoriya’s eyes as his body falls into the water, limp. Shouta’s heart leaps and sticks in his throat. Overcome with the knowledge that even in his last moments, his sacrifice wasn’t enough to save Midoriya, Shouta shuts his eyes.
Or...Izuku's feet move on his own at the USJ and he takes Shigaraki's quirk for Tsu. His death is and is not what it seems.

“I need a raise,” murmurs the man who signs his own paycheck. “This is worse than fighting villains.”
He reaches blindly for his water mug, cradling it in his hands like he can mind over matter it into doing some coffee magic for him.
“At least I can punch those.”

The ground, which of course, is covered in shrapnel and broken glass from the window the fire escape took out on the way down which probably would have impacted their horrifically unprotected small child feet.
Both of the brats scramble up from their laying positions, their eyes wide and alarmed.

Summary
Shouta knocks on Toshinori’s door after patrol. He’s got too much energy pent up; a quiet night and too many school days packed together have left him itching for a fight. Shouta’s never been the kind of hero to go looking for trouble and, while he certainly can devise a devious training for the pack tomorrow, he also knows he can go to Toshinori for anything. Toshinori’s more than happy to be Shouta’s punching bag—and isn’t that a laugh, because Shouta’s never been able to beat the wolf in a fight unless he employs some very underhanded tactics.
The point is that Shouta wants some flesh to sink his teeth into and Toshinori is more than happy to oblige, even when it’s so late at night that it’s technically morning.

Katsuki sighs. “One to ten?”
Izuku blinks at him, slow and sleepy and really not there. Katsuki counts in his mind, waiting for a reply.
“Eight?” Izuku says, the words slurring. “Comes after seven, right?”
Katsuki snorts. The nerd is fucking out of it. “Migraine?”
“Mmph,” Izuku replies, his eyes shutting. He breathes deeply, and Katsuki holds onto that. Despite all of the—all of the things that have happened to them, and the constant pain that always bites at Izuku’s heels—there’s the scratch of Izuku’s curls under his palm, the heat from Izuku’s body next to him, and the breaths telegraphed so clearly, even to Katsuki’s drifting focus.
Izuku is here. Katsuki is here. All is well.
Or...If all Izuku asks for is comfort, who is Katsuki to deny it?

“I fear,” Toshinori starts, pushing futilely at Midoriya’s chest until the kid, with a blush and stammer, pulls away. “That we may have been inflicted with a quirk.”
All Might and Izuku find themselves hit with a quirk that allows them to walk a mile in each other's shoes for a few days. It has ups and downs.

Hawks froze for a second time as she passed him the results.
“You said I didn’t have any soulmates,” he mumbled as he flattened the creases to look at his numbers.
"We maintain that you didn't," Madam President agreed. "But, if we compare your scans to last month's, the signs are clear. You have recently formed a soulbond."

“We taking up ice dancing?” Eijirou asks, dramatically letting his head fall back as Katsuki dips him.
“You mean we aren’t already ice dancers?” Katsuki replies, flashing Tsurara a smile as he brings Eijirou back to stand on his skates. “Oh, right, we’re here to play hockey.”
Or... Katsuki's never been a fan of kids, but even he has to admit that the new water girl is pretty awesome.
