Summary
Before stepping foot on Portia's dock, Lindy thought she was somewhat worldly; she certainly felt like she'd outgrown Barnarock. And even if she didn't feel ready to take on the mantle of her dead-mother's name, she felt ready to take on her wayward father's old workshop, despite no one else in her fractured family thinking her capable. But whilst her distant aunt was concerned about her building credentials, it's a shame no one thought to warn her about matters of the heart. Lindy certainly hadn't counted for how drastically different life in Portia would before she moved - or how the fast paced lives of the seemingly sleepy little town's inhabitants would soon change the course of her own life forever.
