When the Blight first appeared, no one thought much of it. It was a disease, like any other, and with time it would either cease on its own or the scientists of Earth would find a way to stop it from spreading. But then it grew. And it grew. Until a gray sickness covered the planet, slowly choking out life on a once verdant world.
That was when Tim Drake came forward with a plan. He gathered his closest allies, consulted the few experts who remained, and told them all that the only way they could save their world and the people who lived there was by going back in time and ensuring the Blight was never able to spread.
If only he'd also informed them that they could only do so in a very roundabout way.

Echoes of that name had reached even the Vladivostok shatterdome and the Colonel’s ears, which of course meant Ilya had been made aware of the Canadian boy and given stern orders not to let himself be beaten by him. It was bad enough Ilya was Russia’s most promising prospect after the Kaidanovskis; letting a Canadian outshine him was pretty close to treason according to his father’s logic. As if saving the world from monsters from another dimension was another war that Russia could not allow itself to lose.

哦，顺带一提，他还死了个老婆。架空世界，虽然设定上有八大秘术流派，对应各种各样的神秘学内容，不过大体上还是剑与魔法日式西幻那套，战力也不是重点，很不严谨很随便。以及主角团的性格个个婆妈到极了，各有各的拧巴，各有各的问题。
全文不含涩涩，但分级选了最高是因为含有血·腥·猎·奇内容【高亮！】【Cannibalism高亮！】，且会有露骨描写，不过不是猎奇文，只是主角和反派的能力，嗯……相当不妙。虽然标签很吓人，也的确有这样的桥段，不过并不是什么很黑暗的文，更不是黑深残，真的就是主角和反派用的魔法涉及猎奇要素而已。（埃索斯：我不做人啦！）
