Summary
Blake Violet Vale’s dreams were too big for the confides of District 12. Raised as Covey by his adoptive father, Blake Violet found power in his voice. He was meant to grow old with his love, Aldren Rieden, singing for money and living a quiet life in District 12 (or maybe away). However, the odds are never in the favor of the Covey kid.
Now a tribute of the 68th Hunger Games, his voice will steal the hearts of Panem and give him a fighting chance. Quiet and unassuming, Blake Violet is a performer at heart— his soft melodies a stark contrast to the brutal world around him.
He must learn not just to count on his wit and charm and learn to fight if he wishes to return to the arms of Aldren. Through wit, unlikely alliances, and a song that could either save him or lead him to doom, Blake Violet must navigate the deadly arena and the Capitol’s unforgiving gaze.

Summary
Four years ago, District 11 made a choice—one that would haunt us for the rest of our lives.
We decided to rebel against the Capitol.
What followed was a nightmare we couldn’t have imagined. Hunger became a constant companion. Volunteering was stripped away. Punishments, once rare, became relentless. The Capitol pulled the strings, turning us into puppets, and the consequences of our defiance were more brutal than any of us could bear.
It was a spark, a brief ember of defiance, quickly smothered by the Capitol’s crushing hand.
No one knew how much that flame would haunt us. But I was about to find out.
---- or ----
Follow the story of a young girl, Emmila Haddock, in the 69th hunger games as she learnt the true consequences of what defiance can lead to.

The 64th Hunger Games are here, and unfortunately for you, you're one of the chosen tributes. And unfortunately for the Capitol, you were going to fight tooth and nail like the gutter rat you are to survive.
OR
Roronoa Zoro has always known that his piled up years worth of bad karma would catch up to him some day, one way or the other. So, honestly, getting reaped from his district doesn't come as a surprise to him. But having his ex...something as his fellow tribute, however, does.

Summary
Harlan Driscoll never expected to get picked for the Hunger Games. He’s only 12, an orphan from District 12, and his name is in the reaping bowl just twice. But luck has never been on his side. Now, he’s been thrown into the 72nd Hunger Games—scrawny, untrained, and armed with nothing but his sharp wit and sarcastic mouth. His mentor seems to be drunk all the time, his odds of survival are laughable, and the arena is a nightmare. Harlan isn’t strong, he isn’t fast, and he sure as hell isn’t a killer. But if there’s one thing he does know? It’s how to think. And in a game where everyone expects him to be the first to die, Harlan might just prove them all wrong.
This is a little story I came up with while reading fanfics about original characters and original tributes in The Hunger Games.

Summary
In the 30th Hunger Games, the Capitol redefines the spectacle-this time in a setting where sight is stripped away, and sound becomes the only lifeline. Every step could be the last, as tributes stumble through the dark, never knowing what lurks nearby or which nightmare will rise from the silence. In this suffocating arena, fear walks hand in hand with betrayal, while the Mutts unleash shrieks so chilling they blur the line between hunter and hunted. Fragile alliances form and crumble as tributes struggle to interpret the whispers of the arena-and stay alive in Panem's most ruthless entertainment yet.
Amidst the madness, a Crow forms an unlikely bond with a Goldfinch-two souls clinging to one another, balancing raw instinct with delicate hope. But in the Hunger Games, even the deepest bonds can be shattered with a single strike. As the games nears its end, the Crow must choose: vanish into the list of the fallen or rise as the victor of the 30th Hunger Games.
One thing is certain: when vision go out, terror speaks through sound.

This time, I knew for a fact that it was me. Not because my name was so special, no, I knew at least 3 girls whose first name was also Wiress.
No, it was the way people turned to look at me and gasped out of relief of not having their name being picked out of that giant bowl of doom.-----------
Wiress is reaped for the 49th Hunger Games, and wins. We already know that- im just here for the details and the drama.

"You walk. You hold your head high. You show them you're not afraid."
When twelve-year-old Barley Brown is reaped for the 61st Hunger Games, his older sister Betsy steps forward without hesitation. Not to win—only to protect him long enough that he might. Raised in an old butcher shop in District 10, Betsy knows the weight of blood more than most, and the Capitol's glittering cruelty mean nothing when her little brother's life is on the line.
With a brother she has to save, a bitter mentor with his own haunted past, and a Capitol escort whose smiles are more dangerous than daggers, Betsy must navigate the politics of survival, the masks of fame, and the quiet fear that she won't be able to shield her little brother from what's to come. -

Summary
How did Johanna Mason end up winning the 71st Hunger Games? What were the consequences?
Excerpt:
“What’re they doing?” Heather murmured.
“What?” I glanced over to her but she had her eyes ahead, to the stage and Safreen.
District 7’s escort was currently in a deep conversation with our Head Peacekeeper Seane. He had a finger outstretched, pointing across the crowd. For a moment, I checked behind myself, searching for his target. But it was only once I looked back that I realized he was pointing at me.
Safreen was squinting out at me, gesturing in my direction. They spoke quickly. Safreen shook her head but Seane was nodding sharply. He pointed up to the screen they had hanging above them. The Capitol’s seal glinted from it.
And then I understood what was happening. -

Summary
Have you ever wondered just who the victors of the games are? Who they were? What they were like?
What did they go through?
What horrors did the Capitol perpetuate?
In this anthology series, their stories are detailed. This is an original character only fic. Within this fic, the canon characters do not exist. This is merely a writing experiment for me! I hope you enjoy it.
NOTE: The games are wildly out of order. Godspeed.

Summary
After last week's Reading of the Card, everyone is abuzz with who will be in the arena this upcoming Quarter Quell, but so far there's very little speculation about what that arena might be like. However, just as much as the tributes' own efforts contribute to a memorable Games - and what great efforts we can expect from this crop of tributes! - those efforts, and to a surprising extent the narrative of any given Games as a whole, are dictated by the arena those tributes are in. For this weeks' Game Makers, we interview Albinus Greene, the Head Gamemaker for the 50th Annual Hunger Games, to learn more about what goes into the arena design process for such a momentous occasion, what sets apart a Quell year from a normal Games behind the scenes, and a few surprising facts about how the arena impacts gameplay.

Summary
Treech enters the train back to District 7 all alone. The sole survivor, the "victor" who lost everything.
He steps onto the stone floor of the Capitol's train station with a not-quite-boyfriend, 22 no longer dead tributes, and a drive to make sure this second chance doesn't go to waste. He'll never be the "last one standing" again, he'll make sure of it.
AKA
After the events of When The Clock Stops Ticking (We'll Be Painted Red) (no knowledge of previous installments is necessary to read this, I strive to make this work as a stand-alone), Treech somehow travels back in time to find all the tributes alive and well and about to arrive in the Capitol. Now there's an opportunity to be retraumatized! Reaper, the last person to die in the arena, is the only other person aware of the previous timeline, and together they must convince the other tributes to work together and figure out which mentors to involve so they can save everyone and end the games once and for all. All the while, the two realize a thing or two about just how much deeper the bond they formed on that last day truly goes.
