Five year after the Nanite Event. EVOs continue to roam the world, causing rampant chaos and destruction with no end in sight. Providence does as much as they can. Hope is straining every day. Without a cure, there's nothing they can do but countain when possible and aliminate when necessary.
Far from the major fronts, the war is fought by the people. Groups of independent EVO hunters rise. Doing the little jobs Providence cannot spare personel to do. Fighting the tides by themselves.
And among those, one stands out. By their competence. By their determination. And by their secret weapon.
A girl capable of controling her own nanites.
(Generator Rex AU where Rex is not around to help. But the Omega-01 still exists. And finds a new host.)

Summary
So I decided to try a villain crossover story. I am very much in the "let's just see where it goes" stage, so things might change from beginning to later on. I'm mostly writing to share with my friend circle, but it's public so of course anyone else can read if they want.
Following near total destruction, The Beast has taken refuge in a realm far from The Unknown, which he has taken to calling The Eternal. The wayward souls of the wicked tend to find themselves drawn here upon their departure from their respective living realms or otherwise through near-death states. Determined to retain his claim over The Eternal and to sustain what remains of his soul for eternity, The Beast offers some of these souls their greatest desires, in exchange for the disposal of those with enough willpower to resist the call of his forest. This results in the formation of two warring factions: the followers of The Beast (The Kingdom of Skulls), and those who resist (The Tyrannical Alliance). Along the way, some will learn that the power of friendship is not restricted to heroes, some will overcome personal demons, and some will defiantly remain the same.

Eight years ago, a massive explosion destroyed a South American medical laboratory and triggered an apocalyptic collapse as unfinished biomedical machines called nanites mass replicated, spreading across the earth on the artic winds until they infected every living being on the planet. At first, it was regarded as a tragic accident. As a week went by and livestock began to mutate into strange, dangerous creatures, The Event then came to be known as the worst act of biomedical terrorism in human history.
Unfortunately for everyone, nanites, given the right circumstances, could trigger mutations in humans as well.
While the worst instability of the initial apocalypse has passed, humanity now lives under an unknown countdown, as anyone at any time could turn into an Extrovarieted Organism- or EVO, for short. Dangerous, unpredictable mutants capable of destroying cities, toppling ecosystems, and performing terrible miracles unseen by humanity before.
To date, there has only been one verified method of curing an EVO. It's a secret of international proportions, closely guarded by the military organization Providence and a UN committee.
It also happens to be a teenage girl.
