Loona watched him from the crack in her door, her gaze somber. She knew today was going to be hard for him. She knew Blitzo didn’t deal well with loss, he would push off his mourning and grief, ignoring it until it became too much. She’s seen it happen many times when he’s drunk, where he’ll sob as he talks about his dead mother, his failed relationship with his sister, how he hurt his best friend, how he fucked everything up. But even when he’s drunk, he still refuses to talk about this.
Ever since Stolas and Octavia died a year ago today, he hadn’t talked to anyone about it.

Stolas and Octavia of the Ars Goetia are dead, leaving behind a legacy and words of being gone far too soon. At least that's what Loona thought and knew, she had seen their bodies being wheeled out of the Manor on TV herself, so how could there be any other option? But that was until she found Stolas working in a coffee shop in the human world when he was supposed to be fucking dead.

Somehow, Blitzø found himself slipping into position, familiar with the jump in his heart and stutter in his step as he waited in the background, the grooves of being the one behind the curtain set in stone long ago. Hoping against hope Verosika would still have stars in her eyes when she saw him after a performance. Holding his breath for Fizz, time and time again, then with a letter and flower in hand. Quiet as they come, anchored to the floor as he held onto a shot in the dark as if it was all that he had.
This is no different.

The bird was hugging him closely, which made Blitz feel like choking. He really thought he was going to die. Either from the lack of air or his mental discomfort, including his mind playing tricks on him.
He knew he was around Stolas, one of the only beings in Hell he trusted more or less, but whenever he would close his eyes he really couldn't see him in that situation. It's as if there was someone else next to him, someone he didn't want there.
He was scratching his thigh, which became slightly warm all of the sudden.
