Summary
Harlan Driscoll never expected to get picked for the Hunger Games. He’s only 12, an orphan from District 12, and his name is in the reaping bowl just twice. But luck has never been on his side. Now, he’s been thrown into the 72nd Hunger Games—scrawny, untrained, and armed with nothing but his sharp wit and sarcastic mouth. His mentor seems to be drunk all the time, his odds of survival are laughable, and the arena is a nightmare. Harlan isn’t strong, he isn’t fast, and he sure as hell isn’t a killer. But if there’s one thing he does know? It’s how to think. And in a game where everyone expects him to be the first to die, Harlan might just prove them all wrong.

Summary
The mentors have always been close. They had become family. It was impossible not to when, year after year, they met for the Hunger Games to train their tributes t̶o̶ ̶d̶i̶e̶. Did Snow know about their relationships? They had no idea.
But after Katniss and Peeta won the 74th games, it seems that rebellion had started to spew up, encouraging Snow to remind the districts that they could never win, even if they thought they had.
Finnick gets reaped for the Hunger Games yet again and now has to deal with the fact he'll be losing everyone he's ever loved.

The forest was silent, though her ears still rang from the sound of the cannon.
They had done it. She and Peeta had won the Games. Yet the arena remained still—no cheers, no announcement.
Then Seneca Crane’s voice crackled over the speakers.
“After further review, the rule allowing two tributes from the same district to win has been overturned. Good luck.”
Katniss froze. She and Peeta stared at each other, disbelief rooting her to the ground. Then she saw him reach for the arrow lodged in his leg—blood already seeping around it.
“No! Peeta, no!” she shouted, lunging forward, but she was too late. His fingers closed around the shaft.
He yanked it free. Pain etched across his face, he stumbled into a tree. Paleness crept over his skin, and his body trembled violently. When he spoke, his voice was weak and broken.
“I love you, Katniss… You have your family to live for. I… I have nothing back home in District 12.”
Tears blurred her vision. She pressed her lips to his, trying to convey everything she couldn’t say. She held him close, wanting to give him comfort, wanting to give him a good death. Slowly, inexorably, he slipped away in her arms.

Averard Cain has been legally dead and living under a false identity for nineteen years.
This is not his biggest problem.His biggest problem isn’t Catalina Cain, covered head-to-toe-literally-the-only-thing-not-dripping-with-blood-is-the-whites-of-her-eyes in red, because it’s not her blood and she’s just performed an impromptu amputation, cauterised with what Averard would say is arguably too much fire for a small space.
His biggest problem isn’t that Cinna is a horrible driver, or that Plutarch isn’t better and there’s an uncomfortable amount of vomit on the floor, or that Effie Trinket is uncomfortably good with a shotgun. Those aren’t really problems in the way that other things are problems, like how he forgot to charge his phone this morning, or the fact that Peeta’s really shit at keeping his balance, and Averard has to keep grabbing him by the collar so he doesn’t get personally acquainted with the vomit.
No, no.
Averard Cain’s biggest problem is that he’s still fixin’ to beat Coryo to death with a lead pipe, but everyone keeps sidelining him to emotional support.
