Summary
The story is a short story about Mary, a woman who was once known for her beautiful singing voice and was perceived as a blessed individual. However, over time, her voice grew raspy and harsh, and her beauty diminished. People believed she had been cursed by the gods due to her hubris in thinking she could rival the heavenly realms through her singing. Despite losing her husband and her former glory, Mary continued to go to the sea, praying and pleading to the gods to restore her talent. As time passed, she remained a solemn, isolated woman, often leaving her home late at night to beg for her past glory by the sea.

They're stuck in a bunker, burning off the last of their adrenaline while they wait for it to be safe to go back out again.
There's no TV, not even a radio. They've got a stack of books, courtesy of Sam, and a pretty empty fridge. Dean has nothing better to do, so he picks one of the books Sam chose for him.
