Summary
She did it.
She turned the Honmoon Gold. Banished every last demon back into the underworld. Stripped away the inhuman patterns on her skin. Saved the world from Gwi-ma. Rumi should be happy, it’s what she wanted her entire life…right?
So why was she looking at herself with so much hatred?
Or: The Rumi (Golden!Rumi) that turned the Honmoon Golden meets the Rumi (Canon!Rumi) that chose herself.
Strongly inspired by: https://x.com/windglasblubird/status/1960801113172517064 Wonderful art piece that gave me the idea. The rest of their account has absolutely fantastic works too.

Summary
"It was just something that came with the territory of her career. And she didn’t mind photoshoots, really. But she’d always had that gnawing anxious pit, reminding her with each flash, each unexpected touch, each adjustment from an assistant - that she had to check to make sure the patterns were covered properly. Celine in her ear, pouring all her paranoia onto Rumi until she was so set on edge she’d cover up tight for the rest of the day.
Now that her patterns were officially out on display for everyone to see, she’d expected their Comeback shoot to be a breeze. Finally free to move around and just have fun with the girls without any of the worry hanging over her. But if anything, she somehow felt more nervous than she ever remembered being before. Like she could still hear the ghost of all those warnings echoing through her head. Like she didn’t know what to do with herself without them."
...
Rumi has never been the biggest fan of photos. She had Celine to thank for that. But its something that comes with the territory of being a Kpop idol - especially when everyone wants a sneak peak at her new look after the Idol Awards.

Summary
Rumi leaves.
She knows what she did.
She knows who she hurt.
(Baldes pointed at her chest, cruel words, Celine refusing the one thing Rumi had ever asked of her)
Zoey and Mira made sense together—the rapper and the dancer, the dynamic duo, the one that the press feared.
Rumi never made any sense; she was the leader, the untouchable one, the vocalist.
The fix when everything was falling apart.
Nothing about her made sense. It just didn’t. She was wrong, her marks set her apart, she wasn't supposed to exist, or survive.
Celine had been right since the day she was born.
Been right every time she had whispered cold truths into Rumi’s ears.
The Honmoon had made a mistake.
Rumi knows who she’s hurt
What she doesn’t expect is for her girls to look for her, to love her enough to grab her and not let go.
What she wants to know desperately is why. Why fight for a thing like her?

Summary
Miyeong sang softly, fingers curling gently along the baby's head as she gazed lovingly down at her. She stroked Rumi's palm with a finger on her other hand and smiled as the girl grabbed tightly onto it. This only made Miyeong sing louder, the Honmoon rippling around her in response as Rumi looked up at her with wide, brown eyes.
Or, five times Rumi held someone's hand and one time she let go.

Summary
The shadows were always there, following her when she was alone. The whispers haunted her in the darkness, telling her she didn’t deserve to live, because she was a demon with no feelings.
When Rumi offered the sword to her, Celine took it as a sign. A sign that the universe was ready to let her go. Like an invitation, offered at the most opportune time.
(She was ready to tear it all down.)
“Why?!” Rumi asked her.
Celine didn’t care anymore. All she wanted was to be released from her pain.
Celine, pushed to the edge of her sanity, makes a choice–and there's no turning back.

A very suicidal version of Celine sees Rumi holding out her sword as a sign.

Summary
Two weeks after Gwi-Ma's defeat, Rumi is still feeling restless, but it's not because of demons or her patterns.
She missed her mother figure so much, but she's also furious with her for what she did, and she's been at war with herself not knowing what to do.
And maybe Mira and Zoey could help remind her that sometimes, love is complicated as hell.

Summary
Rumi sucks in a breath, releasing her shoulders to the best of her ability. She spreads her fingers wide in the carpet in front of her, claws extending before she sheepishly pulls them back. Mira and Zoey watch the display with an unreadable expression when Rumi eventually offers:
”So what do you want to know?”
Mira leans up with a lethal grace, her face inches from Rumi as she searches the half-demon’s gaze.
"I want to know how it was so easy for you to lie to us.”
or
Shame, it turns out, should not be hand fed. Rumi learns that the hard way when her patterns refuse to fade after the Honmoon is sealed. She thought fulfilling a ritual bigger than herself might finally make her lovable. Maybe even whole. But the aftermath is murkier than she expected.
Defeating Gwi-Ma should’ve been cause for celebration. And yet the girls who fought side by side can hardly look each other in the eye. Lies sit heavy, grief lingers, and nothing feels quite like it should. Follow Rumi, Mira, and Zoey as they try to piece together what’s left between them, even as something more demonic, more aching claws its way out from deep inside Rumi.

Summary
“It’s...” you breathe out slowly, your hands trembling. You’re quick to tighten your grasp on yourself, steeling yourself as you stare past her, at the wall behind her. “A lot. I think it’s going to be a lot.”
Celine hums. The noise is unwavering and solid and intense, and it makes you shift on your feet. You thought you hated her when you were seventeen, and maybe you do, but you think that you love her more than you know. Your earliest notebooks are full of information about her. All the things she likes, all that she doesn’t, everything you couldn’t quite get a read on. You know her. She knows you. You think that maybe the problem lies somewhere within that.
Celine leans forward, her head bowed slightly. “I have spent my entire life preparing you,” she murmurs, voice carrying across the room despite her speaking softly. “You are more than capable of this.”

Summary
Celine is at the tree again. As the Honmoon falls apart, she gets an unexpected visitor—Rumi.
Faced with a choice, her hands tremble as she places them on the blade that Rumi offers to her.
Blood on her hands. A ghostly voice asking her for a promise.
(Death doesn’t discriminate.)
But for Celine, the next choice is obvious, because she made a promise and took on a role that she’s never been able to live up to.
Even if her choices back then make her irredeemable, in this moment, she chooses not to give in to the impulse to use the sword on someone who actually deserves it—herself.

Summary
"You know…" Rumi mumbles into the fabric, her voice muffled. "I love you. I don't want to lose you too…"
Celine's breath catches, her body stilling, every muscle taut as the words sink in. Her eyes fix on the ceiling, unblinking, heart rattling against her ribs.
She didn't expect that. She isn't prepared.
For a long moment she says nothing, lost in the maze of her thoughts. Then, quietly, almost reluctantly, she mutters, "I love you too."
The words leave her lips in a soft whisper, too scared to say them any louder, admit them to herself.
But Rumi hums at that, a low, content sound, and presses closer, satisfied. Her grip around Celine tightens just a little, her fears soothed, if only for tonight.

Summary
Zoey always admired her bandmates greatly. Rumi and Mira were so incredible, it seemed obvious when they started dating.
Zoey watched with longing in her heart. Rumi would kiss Mira and she would kiss back.
Zoey would watch.
She loved them too. She wanted to be with them too. Not one or the other, but both.
That's when the petals started to come. Coughed up with blood.
All she wanted was to be held by Rumi, kissed on the forehead by Mira, kept safely in their arms. But she was sure she was doomed to die, to succumb to her fate. It's what she deserved, in her opinion.
OR
hanahaki au with Zoey as my victim - this will have a very ambiguous ending, as in, there will be multiple endings. The one's that's true is up to preference and perspective...

Summary
"So," The store clerk starts, raking her gaze over Zoey like she's trying to put together a puzzle but is convinced that half of the pieces she has are wrong. "a farmer… huh?"
"Wha- I- guh- dnt- I can farm!" Zoey splutters, defensive.
The pink-haired woman just arches an infuriatingly perfect brow, a smirk starting to pull at one side of her mouth.
"Right. Because all farmers know that when the growing season starts the first thing they need to buy is three twelve packs of Monster."
~
It watches from the treeline, eyes glinting a primal, warning tone. It hasn't moved, not since Zoey spotted it, but Zoey gets the feeling thats intentional. Like it's daring her, waiting for her to make a decision and strike.

Summary
If the multiverse is real, this is what happens to the Sunlight Sisters, Rumi, Mira, and Zoey when one very key event goes really differently than in the movie-verse.
14 year old Rumi lives in the Demon Realm, a servant of Gwi-Ma, training to complete a special mission for the king of demons. As the only half human in the realm, Rumi has to prove her usefulness in order to prevent Gwi-Ma sending her to the darkest pits of the demon realm, where a half human like her won't survive.
Living with her "big brother" Jinu, she is plagued by nightmares, and memories of a time Before the demon realm. What she remembers and what Jinu tells her is the truth are different, and Rumi is starting to wonder if she can really trust Jinu the way she thought she could. At the same time, can she trust her own memories?
