Series Notes:
The references I use to time in these fics is from the program POV, so it's wacky compared to other fics. No comparison is drawn between how much time passes in the User world and on the Grid, because the math makes my brain hurt. For your sanity, the refs are as follows:
Without factoring in actual math, assume:
cycle = equivilent to a year (assuming 12 months in a year)
centicycle = half a cycle (6 months)
hex = a quarter cycle (3 months)
millicycle = a month
micro-hex = a week, more specifically a grouping of microcycles
microcycle = a day
nano-hex = an hour, more specifically a grouping of nanocycles
nanocycle = a minute
picocycle = a second
Use your own judgement to decide how much time is passing for our side of the screen.
