“You need to finish it, Link.” Ghirahim’s voice was soft but steady, his gaze unwavering. “You must stop it before the spell can finish.”
“I can’t,” Link whispered, unable to keep his voice from shaking or his tears from falling.
Before the demon could respond, the ground seemed to shudder beneath them. When Link looked back darkness was quickly spreading from the center of the symbol Ghirahim had drawn earlier.
“Oh darling,” Ghirahim whispered, his grip on the Master Sword going slack, “you should have killed me when you had the chance.”
-Stranded on the Surface after defeating Scaldera, Link has a run in with Demon Lord Ghirahim. However, the demon surprises Link when he refuses to fight him, instead offering him safety for the night. Thus begins an unexpected, often tenuous friendship between the two, leading Link to learn more about the demon than he ever could have imagined.

Demise isn't abusive first of all
I couldn't find a single fic that didn't include rape so I had to make my own. It's a slowburn, but might change idkDemise has won the war, he and ghirahim head back to celebrate their victory. They let link go and go camping bc demise has been in a hole for thousands of years and he finally touches some grass.
(Also I got rid of link really quickly so that I could make a fic of his POV with minimal overlap. That way it's not boring or repetitive if I do make it)
