He doesn't hurt Tommy, that would go against the deal but he wasn't like any other foster home.
He was very insistent on Tommys health. From eating regularly to hygiene.
It took months for Tommy to even let him anywhere near his wings but eventually he got to it.
And boy did that change things.
You see, Tommy is an avian. So he has wings.
Wings that match the colour of his hair so they are a striking yellow.
Almost gold.
And again, it's important to remember Technoblade, when Tommy had summoned him, was covered in gold.
And when Tommy started living with the creature, he was also covered in said gold.
He just got used to it.
Tommy always let the creature cover him head to toe.
Necklaces.
Bracelets.
Rings.
Crowns.
Clothing.
But Tommy has noticed one thing Techno always does.
Stare longingly at his ears.
Or
Tommy lives with a demon who dotes and protects him. As long as he never hurts Tommy, Tommy doesn't care what Techno does.

A drag of silence passes. The demon’s smile fades into a blank expression that could almost be called confusion.
“...Yes…” The demon trails off. “You could, but couldn’t you go bigger than that?” It phrases the question as an offer, a chance to make the deal at least a bit complicated. Demons don’t like simplicity, it seems.
Shame, because that’s all sleep-deprived Wilbur cares for.
“What could be bigger than Money?” Wilbur asks, raising his eyebrows and clapping his hands together. He then winces with a curse, having forgotten about the fact his palm is still sliced open.

The pink-haired demon just ignored the shouting of the annoying kid on his shoulder.
“I hate you! I hate you! Fuck you!” The human decided to pound at the buffed back of the demon with his pathetically weak force.
“You haven't eaten anything, haven't you? I recommend you eat something first then decide to fight a demon.” The demon scoffed under his hog skull mask as he tighten his grip on the human’s waist.
“Fuck you! Let me go! I have things to do!” The human yelled as loud as a starved kid could and the sound echoed weakly in the dark, empty cavern.
“What things? Hurry up to kill yourself?” The demon rolled his eyes.
“Yes! And it is important, you fuck face!” The pounding slowed down, seemed like the kid's puny body strength was steeply decreasing by the second.
And after continuing yelling for a few seconds, the kid just suddenly fell asleep on the demon’s shoulder.
Or he might just pass out from days of starvation and sleep deprivation._______
AU where Tommy was raised by a cult to be a human sacrifice for demons. But the demons who took charge of this area just don't get it. -

Dream cringed and grabbed the axe, splintering the wood further.
Techno looked at the gouge that was rapidly filling with black blood. Contemplated for a second. The voices were laughing at him, "Y'know, we could put a rug over it. Truly, the landlord wouldn't notice a thing."
"Schlatt hates us. He would absolutely notice."
"Laaame. You'd think that this whole chosen one gig would be better, more fun, give some benefits or somethin'. But no. It just wrecks our apartment and makes us pay for it. It's kinda garbage N-G-L."
"By us, you mean me. Don't you?"
"Semantics."
Dream stared at him, then the hole, back at him again, "I'll go get the rug."
(In other words AU where Techno, Dream, Wilbur and Quackity live in the same apartment building, TNT duo keep summoning demons to try and kill their neighbors. Rivals duo are the neighbors.)
