Éomer had heard much about Lothíriel Swan, the daughter of his good friend Imrahil. She was supposedly beautiful, smart and way too girly. All he heard about from others was her love for pink, makeup and lingerie.
She had to be the most spoiled young woman out there.
And then he met her.
Éomer finds out -quite fast -that he’d been judging Lotty way before he met her. She was girly, sweet and loved pink, but she was also amazingly talented and intelligent.
It doesn’t take him too long to notice that all of these things made Lothíriel so lovely… And that he was deeply in love. -

Summary
Elphir of Dol Amroth, oldest son of Imrahil, was surprised when his younger brother Amrothos married a Lady of Harad, Nilofar of Ishtakr.
Then he discovered that Nilofar also had a tendency to conduct crazy experiments, and realised exactly why the couple had wed. (In retrospect, the fact that Nilofar’s wedding present to Amrothos had been three huge hairy spiders should have been a clue to their shared interests).
However, Amrothos and Nilofar’s latest experiment is the most shocking yet…

This fan-fiction is an attempt fill the gaps in the chapter ‘The Steward and the King’ in The Return of the King. It’s best described as “canon compliant”. It’s a joint creation by @what_katy_did_1234 and another Tolkien tragic friend (both lawyers). It starts with Faramir asking Merry about Éowyn…
So many questions are raised by the gaps in the narrative. We’ve tried to deal with various questions, including what Éomer thought when he discovered his sister was suddenly engaged to marry Faramir, how people reacted to the various changes in organisation and society, why Éowyn suddenly goes back to Rohan before the troth-plight ceremony… Warning: there’s quite a lot. After his beloved sister has been married off to some stranger from the North that they called KING, the blue-blooded rebel is on a downward spiral ... until a chance encounter with a common fishmonger's daughter shakes him out of his stupor - and turns him into a fishmonger's apprentice. Hilarity and (romantic) shenannigans ensue.

She takes her destiny in her hands to be trained as a healer in the prestigious Houses of Healing, and feels like she's finally coming into her own. She wants to be nobody's mother and nobody's bride... but Boromir, Captain of Gondor, has caught her eye. Hmmm, what's a girl to do? Seduce him, of course!
