Kylo is on his way to Exegol to face Emperor Palpatine ALONE. He will not allow any challenge to his power and his rule over the galaxy. As he is on his way to Exegol to face Palpatine, he thinks of Rey. His heart yearns for her. How he wishes she'd accept his hand. The only other person he will share his rule, his throne and authority with is, Rey!
In the meantime, Kylo is aware of a huge problem developing on the planet Mandalore! He has received an intelligence briefing that certain Mandalorians are trying to stir an uprising against the First Order and he knows he will have to face them about this, however, first he must face Palpatine and make sure no one challenges his rule over the galaxy.
Kylo's aim was to ask Rey one more time to take his hand. He wants to earn her trust. He knows that with her by his side, balance for the government of the galaxy can be had for the first time, along with her help of ridding the galaxy any Sith loyalists and any Madalorian threat to the First Order.
It also helps that he is deeply in love with Rey and wants to convey those feelings to her! He is hoping she will eventually return his love.
