    Summary

    Welcome to Interregnum! This represents our attempt to write a Zahn-style continuation of his original trilogy, borrowing from material from the X-wing novels and comics (as well as the broader Legends continuity) to help flesh out plots. The main point of divergence from the original Legends chronology is Dark Empire: in this story, Palpatine was never cloned and died permanently in Return of the Jedi.

Much to the dismay of Leia, Luke, Snoke, the New Republic, and the First Order. But they have approval from a certain Force Ghost and Brendol Hux.

    After the ball, Ben Solo habitually calls Armitage Hux to come and "save" him. And Armitage, like the sweetest and loneliest ginger in the galaxy, automatically drops everything and goes to rescue his Prince.

    Andronikos Revel and the Sith Inquisitor known as Lord Kallig (and later as Darth Occlus) meet on Tatooine, there's a spark of mutual attraction as they work together on the commission for Kallig's Master, Zash, and Kallig earns Revel's loyalty. Once they're off on more adventures, misunderstandings and natural consequences of the differences between them lead them to both care about the other, but be unwilling to press, until a situation occurs where they can't deny what is between them.

    After that, they have an interlude of getting to know each other in the best possible ways, followed by a setback.

    The story will continue.

    A hundred years after the cataclysmic Battle of Rakata Prime, the Jedi and Sith Orders have vanished from the face of the galaxy, and Mandalore is a crippled shell wracked by clan warfare. After 25,000 years of constant religious war, the Republic has finally begun to truly heal and grow into its own right. The devastation of war and passage of time have left the horrific, blood soaked years known as the Mandalorian Wars a distant nightmare. The Jedi Order is forgotten, and those who remember it want it to stay gone.

    Now, following the discovery of a vast cache of records collected by a deceased hermit on Dantooine, for the first time we are able to present a comprehensive history of the decline and fall of the Jedi Order. We hope that this is only the start of ongoing efforts to learn from the mistakes of the past, and in doing so, build a brighter future.
