Not my first time writing a fanfic, but I'm still bad at writing so you could say that :/
I work when I want to, expect updates to be slow and chapters to be a bit sloppy when first uploaded as I write usually in bed/at night.!!!!NOTICE!!!!
I will usually write two to three paragraphs on a chapter daily, I might write five or finish a chapter if I get motivation. I am very slow with it, but it's to make sure that you guys get the most out of a chapter.FIC IS ON HIATUS!

A flying creature was not built for an underwater maze.
Similarly, a creature with poor sight was not meant to withstand obsticals in the pitch darkness.
It wasn't surprising that you'd hurt yourself occasionally. You expected it, easy-peasy. Just patch yourself up and have a good day, go back to looting for Sebastian or hunting down rare trinkets.
What was surprising, however, was when something else hurt you. Especially when it shouldn't.
You weren't stupid, you knew to be cautious around the other entities, and they knew to respect you the same. The only real threats were wall-dwellers, void mass, and simple collateral damage.
None of them were the issue, this time. Of all individuals, it was an Expendable.A team of Expendables, actually.

After several years stuck in an alien submarine at the bottom of the oceans on a foreign planet, Alterra maintenance technician Ryley Robinson hijacks the submarine's subsystems during an emergency warp. One over seventy thousand feet below the waters of the North Sea, shrouded by an anomalous veil. The Hadal Blacksite is the final obstacle between Ryley and freedom, and he doesn't have a death-collar aimed at his neck nor a lack of tools at his disposal. But when one can't simply resurrect from death, it'll take more than brute force to get through the dangers presented by this facility.

What if the expendable was young? Specifically a teenager, roughly fourteen or fifteen. Sebastian is still an asshole, but he seems to care more than he lets on. He just shows it SOMETIMES, not always. Painter is just...concerned. He thought he had it bad, but somehow she proved him wrong in more ways than one.
This teenager is badass, in some ways, but very scared and traumatized underneath.
She started out with a rough life, and it seems it'll only get harder from here.
A testament of how much one young woman can endure. How much can this girl handle before she cracks?
