The kitchen was far more adorned than it had been the first time Cullen had sat with her. She had acquired some wall dressings, her garden yielding plenty of herbs to hang to dry. Various pelts had been cured and lay plush on the floor. It had been months and months since Cullen first found her.
He had paused, setting his spoon back into his bowl of porridge. He had planned to leave later that afternoon, return to the crumbling remains of the Inquisition for reasons that eluded him. There was nothing left for him there. There hadn’t been for some time.
“I would like that.”

Welcome to Pop Idol: Rift Closure Edition, AKA Fade-Out Tour: Thedas, the smash-hit spin-off that no one asked for.
The Veil is torn, demons are pouring out of the sky, and the Inquisition is scrambling to hold the world together. Into this mess drops Mira, idol-turned-rift-closer, armed with nothing but sharp vocals, sharper sarcasm, and an even sharper jawline.
For the record, Mira did not ask to get yanked through a magical tear in sky and land face-first into a warzone. But here she is: pink-haired, pissed off, simultaneously singing, slashing, and arguing with a demonic-looking man at least twice her size.
She soon discovers three things:
1) The Veil here can be sealed with Honmoon.
2) The Iron Bull has thighs wider than her torso.
3) The only way to stop this sky-tearing apocalypse is to convince the three iconic figures of this universe to form a proper idol band together…inventing K-pop before Thedas even has radios.Cue the world’s weirdest survival tour: half pop concert, half battlefield, all chaos.

Summary
Rook dies stopping Solas's ritual. Fortunately, Inquisitor Lavellan has never been one to leave the difficult tasks to others... especially when it's about putting false gods in their place and setting right what her former lover broke for a second time.
An AU retelling of Veilguard, in which Lavellan takes Rook's place. Ellana takes over assembling the Veilguard, all the while managing the former Inquisition. She uses her connection to Solas to try and figure out how to unite diverse factions against the Evanuris, all the while torn between her lingering love for him and the knowledge that he cannot be trusted fully, even as old and new friends and enemies return.
Meanwhile, a trapped Solas finds his new situation to be a surprising way to show Ellana unexpected truths about the world and himself that he could never have given her a decade ago. However, the past doesn't let go easily, and he finds the dreamscapes he invites her to difficult to craft as an unseen enemy works to wrestle control away from him and have its revenge for past wrongs.
A storm is coming. Where lightning strikes, thunder is never far behind.
