After the Fade kiss, Solas has taken some time to think. Luella tries her best not to push, but he seems hell-bent on pulling her in all the same.

Each stolen peck at him deprived her of a sentence at the end, each brush against his lips or hand against his hips that rendered him quiet with the delicious flush of a ripe peach, stole something of their conversations, moved her to stay up until the small hours of the night, until both of them were too tired to navigate the clumsy ritual of parting for bedtime. She wanted to split him, multiply him, multiply herself—a pair of them could kiss forever, a pair of them could talk forever, a pair of them could finally fall silent and exist.

CONCLAVE CHAOS: ANDRASTE'S ASHES DESTROYED BY DALISH APOSTATE!

Tragedy at the Temple of Sacred Ashes! All those in attendance for peace talks or pilgrimage - apostates and innocent faithful alike - were killed in an explosion that tore the very Veil with its violence. The Divine has been assassinated, our Lady's resting place obliterated by foul magic, and the bloodshed has unleashed demons across Thedas.

A Dalish elf was found at the scene of the attack, wielding the same magic that desecrated the Temple. Through valiant efforts of the faithful at Haven, she was compelled to mitigate some of her vile act, and the Breach in the Veil was prevented from expanding.

However, in grim news, the prisoner has escaped custody, aided by some sort of cult. Blood magic is not suspected, but cannot be ruled out - the prisoner is to be considered highly dangerous. Pursuit is ongoing. We keep faith that justice will be served.

    Summary

A new world has begun, and Nara Lavellan must come to terms with the world that has changed around her. Challenged with her own recovery and that of the world, she finds herself at a loss for what her role is now. As she grows stronger, she may discover that the truths she thought she knew may be tested. She and Solas both find themselves in uncharted territory.

This acts as a sequel to Blinded: Part One. Part One covers the significant events that take place two years after Trespasser and Part Two begins just a few months after those events. It can work on its own if you read the chapter notes, but the state of the world has been changed and the characters are learning how to deal with that.

    Summary

In the shadowy streets and rooftops of Treviso, Rook—born Ellana, daughter of the Hero of Ferelden and Zevran Arainai—has risen swiftly through the ranks of the Antivan Crows, but her life is about to change. When renowned storyteller Varric Tethras and Inquisition scout Lace Harding track her down, Rook is pulled into a mission of dire importance: stopping Solas, the Dread Wolf, from tearing down the Veil and unmaking the world.

Faced with the legacy of her legendary parents, Rook must decide whether she’s ready to betray the Crows and join a cause larger than any contract she’s ever taken.

    --------

A novelisation of the game, with plenty of tension, angst, and the love story we all needed. Expect soft Lucanis, a bloodthirsty MC, big brother Viago, and plenty of Crow drama.

    Summary

    Can be read solo.

Solas knew very little about the woman who bore his mark except that she was a beautiful and compelling mystery.

The green glow lit the small cell. The magic on her hand never fully subsided, but when it spit green fire the woman grew restless. He felt a connection to her that the presence of the mark did not explain. Solas almost did not want her to wake up.
The moment he interacted with her, she was bound to disappoint, failing to live up to any of his imaginings.

As if to mock this sentiment, the elf stirred. She opened her eyes to reveal bright green eyes. Solas caught his breath, transfixed.

She said accusingly, “Is this another trick? You think I can't escape from your prison, Solas?”

The breath froze in his chest and everything stopped.
    She knew him.

Solas had no memory of her.

    --
Both Rook and Solas travel back in time to the begining of the Inquisition. From the beginning, Solas senses a bond linking him to Rook. This changes everything.

    Not a strict retelling.

Heavy emphasis on Rook and Solas's relationship. Anyone else notice the tension between Cassandra and Varric?

Expect plenty of party banter as well.

    Summary

Late-bloomer college student Evie Ingellvar (25) is banking on the money selling her eggs at a high-end fertility clinic to pay her tuition and to keep a roof over her and Franny’s (7) heads for the next few years. This single mom isn’t looking for romance or anything to be handed to her.

Emmrich (early 50’s) is a successful doctor, fresh out of an amicable divorce (Johanna was always more of a friend than wife) looking to expand his family through surrogacy to give his young son Manfred (4) a playmate.

In an internal fuck-up of eye-watering lawsuit proportions Jane-the-Virgin-style, Evie ends up not only donating her eggs but also being artificially inseminated by Emmrich’s sample.

All I can imagine, once they both get past the shock and horror, is Emmrich being the doting, supportive partner Evie never asked for but secretly longed for. Like he keeps calling/texting her asking if she needs anything, if she is taking the vitamins he had delivered to her house, and how she’s feeling.

    “What?” She asked incredulously.
    “Pick, up, your, sword.”
“Cassandra, I don’t feel like practicing.”
“You’re going to duel an Antivan nobleman, that’s not something best left to fate.” The hope that came into the Inquisitor’s eyes was enough to make Cassandra not regret being a romantic. Ellana picked the rapier off the ground.

    "You never forget...why?"

"Because it is part of who I am. Despite all the things I'd rather not remember, I would never want to forget these memories. They helped shape who I am, and help make me a better person."

"I want to be a better person."

"Then don't forget. Learn from your mistakes, and with time and effort, you can become who you want to be," She told him.

He nodded. "I will, thank you."

    She smiled. "Anytime."

I have been wanting to write something like this for a while. But never got around to it, and since I have been in a terrible writers block, I thought I'd just start it and see if it helps me get out of it. And it did, it was something new, something different. I also wanted to write out some small moments I wanted to see in the game in terms of battle, I was very disappointed that I didn't get to see Solas vs Elgar'nan properly. I feel the tags already spoil enough, so I won't say anymore and let you all read. But, I will apologise in advance, it hurt me to write it.

    Summary

Alexandra knew ‘things’. Reborn into a world she knew as fiction, she saw the terrible things to come: The coming of the Blight, the Kirkwall rebellion, the Elder One tearing into the veil, and the return of the Dread Wolf. She had to do something, lest her new home be destroyed. She would gather allies, learn ancient lore, travel the globe, and take every precaution she could, even at great cost to herself.
She hoped it all would be enough to turn Thedas on the right path... and enough to make up for her many failings, literal demons, and a consistent lack of competency.
Even knowing the future, there are many surprises in store with everyone.
Are there other reincarnated Earthlings? How can fiction become reality? And really, can the Inquisition handle such a gremlin of chaos as its fortune teller?

At its heart is a slow-burn Solavellan romance, full of longing, tenderness, Fade dreams, and the question of how love might reshape fate. Chapters are long (8–15k+ words).

Ellana Lavellan is an elf who is out of her element. Her simple quest to record the events at the Conclave transformed her into a religious idol and left her scarred with a magic she can’t even begin to understand. Saving the world wasn’t a part of Ellana’s plans. Neither was falling in love with the Inquisition’s Ambassador.

This is a retelling of Dragon Age: Inquisition, mostly canon-aligned with slight changes.
