21 year old college sophomore Floyd Brookes committed suicide last week. The reason why is a mystery. He loved his life, he loved his family, he was happy, he was vibrant. He had no reason to.
22 year old Creek Ocean was pulled onto a mess he never wanted to be in. He too was a sophomore in college, Arsted University, the So why they hell was he in this dead boy's suicide note AND will?
Creek was given a chance nobody else would ever receive. He had access to 13 VHS tapes. Those tapes contained Floyd's story, they contained his 13 reasons why. All Creek had to do was find them; then and only then could everyone get the answer why. But with those tapes, he was given something else. If Creek found each tape in order and watched them, he would be given the ability to go back in time to the day they were filmed to eliminate the corresponding reason. He had the chance to bring Floyd back to life.
Creek wants to give the Brookes family closure, he wants to give them relief. He wants to know why. Why did Floyd do it? Why was he involved in this? He didn't care about saving his life, he just wanted answers. But as time goes on Creek's path in desperation changes and he's suddenly very eager to see Floyd alive. -
