This is my version of an Alternate Universe story wherein Kaiden Alenko is Subject Zero. After killing Vyrnus as a teen his life diverted in a very different direction to the original Kaiden Alenko.
Here's a small part taken from the story itself :-)
Kaiden scanned through the last few lines of data on the pad searching for any clue as to how the fuck she was alive and standing. In the last few snippets of information he learned that Cerberus had somehow brought her back to life with the sole purpose of sending her to deal with the Collector threat. It was beginning to look like Kaiden wasn't the only one only ever thought of as a weapon. He was angry, confused even hurt if he had to really admit it even if he wasn't sure why he felt that way. He couldn't explain it his emotions were hitting him all at once and he wasn't sure how to deal with it. One thing he did know for certain though, the Shepard he had met earlier that day, was a very different Shepard to the one he had just spent the last few hours reading about. Very different indeed, far more dangerous and he fucking hated her!

A word about Elia Shepard : I’ve made her this ambiguous, dark anti-heroine, very different from the way Commander Shepard was written by Bioware. She is not your average hero, she isn’t even all that likable, but she will save the galaxy….probably..
