Everyone has soulmates, in fact as soon as you're born, your left eye is in the shade of your soulmate's eyes. You will stay with your heterochromic eyes until you meet eye to eye with your soulmates- that's where your left eye will change to your natural one.
Meeting your soulmate might take years but you guys will be bound to meet anyway. That's how the world works, your soulmate is your other half- it wouldn't be possible for two halves to not meet. Nythera met her soulmate at exactly the age of seven at a circus. It wasn't exactly an ideal time to meet her soulmate because her parents left her after saying they will be playing hide and seek with her. It was hide and seek alright, because Nyathera is a good hider, a very clever one.
Meeting her soulmate wasn't a fairytale story because in the blink of an eye, her soulmate got taken to be under the care of a billionaire. In the blink of an eye, Nyathera lost hope.

Someone was attacking him and Haly. They were both knocked unconscious, and whoever it was flew off the train. With Robin.” She stopped, releasing another shaky sigh. “They were long gone by the time we managed to get to the front of the train. The only things left behind were a long, dark brown feather and a paper square with an owl on it.”
