[This is an isolated copy/plug of Chapter 3 from my current primary work, a Canon-Rewrite/Canon-Divergent AU. it's a WIP that blends both Arcane and Game lore: A More Sensual Approach To A Scientific Method.]
In which: Viktor and Jayce have been anonymously and generously commissioned to invent the prototype of a new invention, the "Hexstrap". The day after they receive the inquiry, Jayce avoids work for the first time since Hextech was founded, then struggles to maintain a healthy distance with Viktor upon returning. Despite his efforts, Jayce gets a little too close to his partner for comfort on Christmas; then finds himself accidentally suggesting experimental sex for the sake of "ethical test practices."
Viktor—much to his surprise—is amicable to the proposal, with some unexpected suggestions on the best approach. This results in Jayce discovering something new about himself and his desires while in a compromising position.

Caitlyn had looked over and noticed through the doorway into the kitchen that Vi had grabbed a snack from the fridge and it seemed as though some of it had fallen and seeped into her white tank. She had her back turned but quickly pulled her shirt off with one hand and then turned around back towards the living room.
“I’m going to have to charge you for a staring fee,” she said teasingly.
Caitlyn didn’t have a response as she felt her body crumble beneath her. Vi really did have the perfect body. Her thick black industrial back tattoos were so enticing and added to the outline of her back muscles even more.

Viktor will soon come to learn that there is not only magic in the creation of Hextech, but in those statues as well.

An anonymous benefactor generously commissions the Hextech Industry partners roughly a year into their founding with the proposition of obtaining their assistance in creating a scandalous vision come true. This ludicrous device was never a part of the Hextech partner's expansive agendas originally, but the offer of a life-changing lump sum check combined with the very explicit condition of being granted permission to "use any excess funds as they so desire or need", proves itself to be far too tempting of an offer for the up-and-coming Hextech Industries to pass up. Though it seems unethical at first, not to mention undoubtedly hedonistic and lewd, who knows what other doors the profits related to this invention could open? And what kind of inventors could Jayce and Viktor claim themselves to be, if they didn't thoroughly and personally test their own product first-hand?
(AKA i needed an excuse to write T4T jayvik fucking and falling in love in an ever-so-slightly "lower stakes" setting bc i'm feral for them.)
