When Billy’s parents bring him and the rest of the Haunting Squad for a summer at sea with their coworker Dr. Deep, a betrayal from within causes their ship to crash off the coast of a deserted island.
Not only that, but when the adults are taken into the woods by a mysterious woman with wolfish features, and more strange beings stalk them from the untamed forests, the squad find themselves trying to solve their most dangerous mystery yet.
And what Billy in particular finds on this chaotic journey will change him in ways he’d never imagined, as well as learning how much his parents had cost in the name of scientific progress…
While not technically a crossover with it, this proper first episode of this series’ first story arc is heavily influenced by the 2018 sandbox survival horror game “The Forest” and its 2024 sequel “Sons of the Forest” (even if this takes more inspiration from the latter game).
Rated M for your typical survival horror violence (and other horrifying things)

The name’s Ricky Beamer, club president and your guide into the inner workings of this fun little club, along with the help of my best friends David, the club vice president, and Brenda, our club organizer.
We do creative writing prompts and challenges, (fiction, nonfiction, you name it), poetry readings, and even baking and bake sales (since we also run the school’s baking club)! Doesn’t that sound like so much fun?
If yes, then come on down to classroom 7. Our club meetings are hosted after school for the literature club, and Saturday morning for the baking club (yes, even during school breaks too!). We can’t wait to meet you!
