Summary

Jackie himself is eventually turned in the wake of the heist and sets out to help V find a solution to the Relic stuck in her head afterwards. In the meanwhile, neither are happy about the ride-along, Johnny Silverhand, while Jackie struggles to manage and accept his new state of being.
Vampire AU, Jackie and T-Bug live, Jackie helps V on main quests throughout the story.

V didn’t remember walking out of Arasaka Tower. Or crashing through whatever hell they’d called a mission. Truth was, her memory of that week was a big black void. One second, she was moving, fighting, thinking—maybe screaming—and the next, nothing. Just fragments of pain, gnawing and blunt, the kind that didn’t care about timing or logic. Bits of herself showed up in flashes: her body aching in places she didn’t even know could hurt, her head pounding with a rhythm that didn’t match any music she’d ever heard, and the occasional echo of someone screaming her name. That someone, apparently, wasn’t in the room.
V goes through the five stages of grief in a world without Johnny, but the Silverhand-shaped hole left in her heart never really heals. Then one night, when she thinks she’s finally made her uneasy peace, there’s a knock at the door.

Instead of rotting in a prison stasis tank for eternity after surviving the bombing of Arasaka, Johnny Silverhand is released. Things around Night City haven't changed much, so he's getting the band back together. But Johnny has to figure out where he fits into everything 50 years later and not much wiser, including with Kerry's new choom, a weird, uptight corpo-turned-merc chick named V.

A single is a mini-release of one track, one self-contained idea, with maybe a few iterations on top. Play long enough and you'll get plenty of 'em that either escape the confines of the albums they were on, or didn't fit on an album to begin with.
There's no leitmotifs or through-lines to be found in singles, but that doesn't mean there's less love put into making them.

Kerry bought up all the rights to Johnny's music and biometric data after the AHQ bombing but returning those rights turns out to be legally complicated. In short, the easiest way to do it is for them to get married with a prenup that gives Johnny his stuff back when they divorce.
Because of course they will at the end of the legally required 31 days. ... Right?

Included in this fic will be some canon-typical violence, sex, references to/ talked about suicidal thoughts/death, and some substance use.

Summary
V has managed to remove Johnny's construct from her mind with Panam and the Aldecados help but is living on borrowed time and both her and Judy know it. Additionally the risk of Vs health rapidly degrading due to the remainder of the relic was imminent.
They have been dating for a few months and now live together at Judys after V gave up her apartments following the events at the Mikoshi assault and in preparation for the worst. While she could have gone with Panam, V instead decided to tie up a few loose ends in NC. But hopes that her and Judy can join up with the Aldecados for a bit before her time ends.
Panam and the Aldecados are out searching for help to try and save V but there's been no progress after 2 months.
While still in NC Judy has been helping V as an intel collector on some of her gigs, until one gig takes a bad turn and injures V. Judy takes care of her but things are not easy. They work their way through testing times hoping to come out stronger together.

My own version of an ending to the game using some aspects of the Star ending but with an added self-made arc in between V leaving Mikoshi with 6 months to live and her and Judy joining up with the Aldecados.
