“Depends on the song, Superman is winning most upbeat songs, and Batman is winning the ballads.”
Kon raises his eyebrows, “Yeah, I guess you’re right, but I’d argue that Supes would fuck up a ballad- he’s got that earnest vibe.”
“I believe the word you’re looking for is ‘boy scout', boy scout.” Tim gives Kon a small smile, then gets an idea, “How about I play a song randomly, and that is the one they’re facing off to?”

A light frost covered the surface except where Damian had pressed his glove to the glass and wiped it away, taking all of Damian’s thoughts away with it, his mind emptying as his view cleared.
Jonathan.
Damian shakes his head, closes his eyes, forces himself to not rip his domino from his skin to check once more if what is in front of him is real. It can’t be real. It can’t.
Damian opens his eyes and it’s still him. Still Jonathan. Except he is not the Jonathan Damian saw last, laughing in the sunlight at a tailgate party, his arm wrapped around his long term boyfriend Jay. That Jonathan was four years older than Damian, on the cusp of graduating with a degree whereas Damian would only be starting his first.
Except there is a Jonathan in the case in front of him, looking two years younger than Damian, his hair still as curly and unruly as Damian can remember it being when Jonathan was eleven and following Damian around making promises of forever.

A mission goes awry when Damian finds a second, younger Jonathan Kent and rescues him, bringing both the Kent and Wayne families together as they attempt to cope with this new development.

Navigating who he wants to be on top of managing the stress of school and his vigilante activities, he hardly has any time for the whole “self discovery” thing. While on a mission, he comes across Superboy, who he had not seen in two years. Superboy, aka the boy who he used to have a major crush on for years before flushing it down his mental toilet, which is totally not what he needed in the middle of his attempts to rebuild his life.

After the invasion, Nightwing went missing. No one had seen him, in or out of mask. Batman admitted that he'd had a falling out with him before the invasion. The heroes are forced to admit that they'd been harsh with him.
Weeks later they find videos showing him meeting Ra's Al Ghul. And Dick? He looks so tired, so rung out, so.. Depressed.

When the justice league died on an off-world mission, world was left without its finest hero's.
Tim isn’t Batman. Not even close. But he is the one who took over for Batman. When the justice League tragically passes away off world, there’s global panic. People everywhere are wondering who’s going to be next to keep the world safe. Dick is too worried about becoming like Bruce. Jason simply refuses, and Damian is too young no matter what he’s going on about. So, Tim takes his dad’s place, but not the cowl. Never the cowl. But it seems that people are refusing to take him seriously. He’s a young hero, and the other young heroes are too busy morning their mentor. But he does manage to convince conner to help him.
Conner is still trying to find his place among heroes, so when he was offered the chance to join the new league he jumped at the opportunity. He didn’t want to be Clark. But he wanted to find himself. And if that meant leaving the super something stuff to Jon, so be it. But he was going to be his own hero. And what better way than to help Tim create a new generation?

Shocked and confused, Tim's lips quivered into a one-sided smile. It was an awkward facial twitch that continued to hurt his cheek. Tim wasn't sure why he was smiling, but he knew it did not help with the current situation. Furrowing his eyebrows, he clenched his jaw in a way to relax.
It did not help.
Tim was sure what Bruce said was unrelated to the matter unless he was missing a few chapters? Was he? The overwhelming thoughts in his mind made him confused and unsure about anything right now.
