When there's no one to draw for, cook with, tell bad jokes to, Hänsel, Pollo, Lemy, whoever he really is, is left with his own thoughts. The only time he gets to do that nowadays is when he's asleep, any other time he has to play the dumb, innocent boy who doesn't take anything seriously.
Ever since the beginning of his existence, he had always been prone to brutal, horrible nightmares. After each death he prayed they would die along with him, but at this point, the boy is more nightmare than human.
Is it even worth keeping on if the thousand years you've
livedsurvived just can't leave your head? How do these things even keep coming back to him? He thought talking to people about his problems would help, but it seems like they've stopped taking him seriously. Lemy, having just sat up on his bed, still in his day clothes, disoriented after a nap that went on for too long, could only rub his eyes and sigh.
"Nah. It's something I've never seen before, but about as weird as the usual." He said in a mutter, turning over to the glass that the voice was coming from. "If not worse.."
The growing interest on the girl's pale face was almost palpable.
'Tell me everything.' Ney demanded, palming the glass wall of her vessel from the inside 'Everything!'
"You're not gonna like what you hear," Lemy warned her, and Ney didn't listen, she never does- in fact, being told that only made her more curious.
"Or maybe you'll like it a little too much."

Lemy Abelard finds out what the contract with the Demon of Gluttony really entails. As if his older sister's soul getting stuck in the demonic vessel after a similar mistake wasn't enough of a warning..In short : Lemy tells Ney about his possession-induced nightmare in which he gored and ate a prostitute. Ney finds it incredibly amusing.

It was semi-common knowledge that it was on the same day as when the hero of the revolution - Germaine Avadonia - was born, but other than that, she never really made a big deal about it.
In the first place, Julia is always caught up with government work - and other unsavory stuff - and just doesn't have the time to make a big deal out of things. Which leaves her son, Lemy, to make a big deal out of them instead..It's late into the night of November 4th, and the boy is overtaken by panic, even consulting the voice of his long-dead older sister from the wine glass for help.
Ney seems to be none the wiser - lacking knowledge about both her little brother's adoptive mother and birthdays in general.The two kids eventually come up with a foolproof plan, just in time.

Lemy Abelard, sick to his stomach but egged on by Ney Phutapie's voice, decides to make good use of his time- and Yuzette's still warm body.
In short : Lemy finally gets to vent out all his hatred towards prostitutes- getting just as disgusting in the process as he thinks they are. Ney's morbid curiosity is ultimately satisfied.
