Tucking it back in hastily and buttoning his shirt up again, the hunter rushes to his match, haphazardly adjusting his collar, and the locket burns its coolness to his heart again, reassuring him of its small existence.

ATP I'm hitting the "Rec" button everytime, but can you blame this? Again, a masterpiece. I loved the tidbits of how an in-game match would go too, but as always, it's the longing and grief and the image of Claude from Joseph's perspective what make this all so worth it. Excuse me, I gotta cry.

“I envy you,” he whispers, quiet enough that the words could have very well been lost to the biting winds if they did not linger in the air condensed into cold mist. “Joseph.”
To Aesop, death brings with it peace. Joseph, unwillingly, fails to disprove that.
