Being in the same class through elementary, middle and high school surely must have been tricking his brain into thinking he unironically likes Cheng Xiaoshi romantically, its just impossible! But he knows that he doesn't look at him the same anymore, his heart beats differently when he's with him now, he always knew Cheng Xiaoshi was pretty but why was he even prettier now that they were in highschool! Well, he more got into "handsome" category ever since he started growing his hair out and had a small ponytail on, not that Lu Guang realized it,it's just there! It's impossible to not zone out on his neck and how his hair sticking out to different sides when his seat is just in front of him! But it's fine. Summary
Lu Guang, a public figure known for his tightly controlled image and preference for solitude, is unwillingly assigned a personal bodyguard after a string of escalating incidents. The agency insists it’s for his safety and makes the decision without his input.
Cheng Xiaoshi is assigned to the job on short notice. He’s 22, a former basketball player with a laid-back attitude and a love for photography. He doesn’t exactly fit the mold of a typical bodyguard. He talks too much, doesn’t act formal, and has no intention of staying invisible.
At first, Lu Guang wants nothing to do with him. Their relationship is cold, tense, and marked by silence, sarcasm, and awkward car rides. But over time, the forced closeness starts to wear down the walls between them. They begin to understand each other, slowly, unexpectedly and what started as a business arrangement starts to feel like something more personal.
