Summary
This is a series of one-shots and short stories I wrote set in the world, or as I call it, Hildasraum (meaning "Hilda's space").
Not all of the stories in this series take place in the same timeline. "The Half-Troll" is completely standalone, since I wrote it long before The Mountain King movie came out. Most of my other Hilda one-shots beginning with "The Herd" are interconnected, but "The Cruelty of William Hartshorn" and it's spin-off fics are in a separate timeline.
Fanfiction posted after the release of Season 3 beginning with "The Life of An Adventurer" and "The Plight of Hilda and David" are part of a new continuity, since the new season gave me a ton of new stuff to work with.

Summary
The Fairy Isle: One of the most mysterious and unknown locations in Hilda: The Series. We’ve seen it for a single episode. We know that it’s dangerous. But there are so many questions that have gone unanswered over the course of Season Three. Why were these details omitted?
Or perhaps something happened. Something even the writers themselves know nothing about.
Perhaps there was a time loop. A memory erasure. A plot woven within Fairy Country so treacherous it could destroy the entire world as we know it. A forgotten character, abandoned because she was too timid to appear on-screen under the viewers’ scrutiny.Perhaps everything can be solved with this one lost story.
Toføten’s Song: The Complete Compilation is a collection of Parts One and Two of Toføten’s Song, a tale that leads through Season Three, the Fairy Isle, and beyond. It also includes, as a bonus, a few short fics taking place in a variation of Part Two.
I hope you enjoy this fanfiction! I started writing it right after the Season Three poster came out in September 2023, and it’s still going in October/November 2024. Kudos are encouraged, as are discussions in the comments! (I don’t think I have that many fans, but we’ll see.)

In this retelling of the finale, I will focus on what happens if Astrid dies and how that will influence the finale. I will also cover some in-between events, so it feels coherent.
This fanfiction will also have some minor allegories on the fandom as a whole, especially with coping with emptiness. I hope it works out so you get the feels that I feel when the show ends.
