That is, until one night while walking home from the local bowling ally, she finds herself kidnapped by the Queen of Vampires herself - the famed bride of Dracula, Nitiqret. But what did she want with her? What did she want with Helena?? It soon becomes obvious to Frances that maybe there's more to her beloved's past than she's currently aware of. And when she finds herself held captive in an old rundown warehouse on the outskirts of Havenfall, bound in shackles and in a cage - she begins to wonder if she'll ever make it out alive. Will Helena and her friends come to her rescue? Or will her fate be left in the hands of her captors?

Her most sensitive areas clearly visible through the fine fabric. It takes me a minute to register that I have yet to say anything when Vanessa continues to stare at me. I finally close my mouth and try to swallow.

I take a long sip of my coffee and pick up one of the angel feathers off of the table. It's flawless crystal rivets shine brightly in the dimly lit room. The colors are a little different than mine. More red, less purple. I place it back down on the table next to two other identical feathers, and a small piece of tattered cloth.
( Sometimes you just need a tiny piece of cloth!)
I smile at the memory, my finger idly smoothing over the frayed edges. I'm just about to pull away when my finger catches on something. I carefully unfold the cloth to find a tiny piece of paper. Tarnished with age, I can make out the words, 'Call me where the water meets the earth.' I roll my eyes.

I broke Vanessa's heart, and deserted my friends mid battle. My stomach turns at the thought. How could I!? I'm about to jump up, insist that I be let go, but Nitriqret is too fast for me. I can feel her will reassessing itself before I can even mutter a word. I try to take a breath and feel a dream-like smile come over my face. Nitriqret grins, obviously satisfied.
